letters from sweden
The fonts by Letters from Sweden are fantastic, and would be great to have on the site -- especially the Ivar family, Lab Grotesque, and Tid. https://lettersfromsweden.se/

Add stylisitic-alt support for character pair Ƀ ƀ in DejaVu Serif
Some languages, such as Kiowa, use bowl-struck variants of the letters Ƀƀ Đđ Ǥǥ. DejaVu Serif provides a bowl-struck stylistic variant for Đđ Ǥǥ, but not for Ƀƀ. It would be nice if the option were available with all three pairs of letters, for full support of Kiowa and similar orthographies.
I'm not sure what I'm allowed to upload. See Unicode proposal L2/25-067 for illustrations.[https://www.unicode.org/L2/L2025/25067-bowl-struck-variants.pdf]
PS. DejaVu alt cap Ǥ has a nice, clear half stroke, reflecting what is seen in hand-designed book covers. It's nice that Adobe noticed this detail.

Support for Classical Chinese in Source Han Sans & Serif
- Purpose:
I am writing to propose the expansion of the Source Han family to include a "Classical Chinese" (CC) version or enhanced support for historical glyph variants. This would serve as a crucial tool for digital humanities, historical research, and the preservation of East Asian cultural heritage.
- Rationale:
2-1. Regional Standard Limitations:
Current Source Han Sans/Serif fonts are optimized for modern regional standards (CN, TW, JP, KR). However, these modern standards often replace historical orthography with simplified or modernized forms, which do not accurately reflect the aesthetics or philological nuances of pre-20th-century texts.
2-2. Digital Humanities Demand:
There is a…

Can we please have Regular and Bold Weights for Adobe Naskh?
Can we please have regular and bold weights for Adobe Naskh Arabic font? Decent fonts for typesetting Arabic for print are rare. They often have errors, in the diacritics for example. Adobe Naskh does not seem to have these issues. It is exceptional, no doubt because of Robert Slimbach's involvement, but it only comes in a medium weight. This makes it difficult to use in a printing situation. You have to rely on other fonts to do the bold occasions etc. So, can we please have regular and bold weights for Adobe Naskh? Thank you.

Non-latin scripts (especially south east asian)
First off, we are avid users of Adobe Fonts across multiple project (such as https://jntzn.com/tools/hex-to-rgb-converter/, https://jntzn.com/tools/xml-formatter/, https://jntzn.com/tools/glitch-text-generator/ and https://gegenfeld.com/tools/prozentrechner, among others). The platform's ease of use and integration have been invaluable to our workflow and design consistency.
As we expand our content offerings into additional languages—including Thai, Korean, Hindi and more—we've encountered a significant challenge: a limited selection of fonts supporting these more niche or non-Latin scripts. Thai script, in particular, is essential for us to deliver a polished and culturally appropriate experience in our multilingual projects.
It would be incredibly beneficial to have a broader range…

Hash-like font
Imagine having a font that operates like a hash generator, visually transforming letters into entirely different characters—much like the behavior of tools like this hash generator: https://hash-generator.com/md5-hash-generator/
What does that mean?
Essentially, each character would be mapped to a unique, unrelated symbol or letter. For instance, “A” could appear as “J”, “B” as “2”, and so on, creating a visually encoded representation of text.
This would be nice to have, in some context.

Fancy Fonts
It would be cool to have some more Unicode-art-like fonts, like this: https://fancy-text-generator.org/ or some glitch-like fonts, like this: https://jntzn.com/tools/glitch-text-generator/
I know, this might be a bit niche, but for certain art styles and game design, this would be so cool! :D

Improve specific letter forms in Source Sans 3
I would like to suggest improvements to the letter forms in Source Sans 3. The uppercase J could have a line at the top to make it more traditional. The lowercase q could have a hook. The lowercase t should be a traditional letter rather than a script t. The uppercase A should be a single story A. The uppercase I should be a traditional letter rather than just a single vertical line. The lowercase a should be a traditional look rather than a double story a. The lowercase j should be a traditional letter. The uppercase Y should be…

make 3rd party fonts available on Adobe font foundry
Adobe does not have the font Gotham. This is a very popular font and it has been popular for a very long time. I was told by Adobe Support that it is not in the Adobe Fonts collection because it is a 3rd party font. For a long time, Adobe has been negligent and still carries way too little number of fonts, and not enough of the popular ones that are considered current to design. After collecting so much money from Adobe subscriptions, Adobe should be providing better and more fonts. This poses a huge problem for startups and freelancer…

Request for open type fonts in adobe
There are some HUGE gaps in Adobe collection, especially since you dropped former "gold-standard" Type 1.
This is a "wish-list" for OpenType fonts:
You need to replace some fonts you dropped, others that you never had, fill some gaping basic-stuff holes, flesh-out some families, try to keep things consistantly available, and some of this is simply stuff that would be nice to have.
1 voteAlthough support for Type 1 fonts has ended, we have not removed any fonts from our service. Many of the fonts on your list are already included in the Adobe Fonts library as part of your Creative Cloud subscription.
If you are looking to replace Type 1 fonts that are not offered in our library, we recommend reaching out to the foundry or their reseller. Further details and recommendations can be found in our help article.

Fonts in WOFF2 format
If we could have a way to access fonts as WOFF2 this would help with page speed when implementing them on websites. This could compress the file sizes by 30%.

Adding fonts to Wix websites.
It would be great to have the possibility to add fonts to Wix websites. Wix has millions of users (designers, freelance, agencies) using Adobe and Wix daily.
We are in 2023, and adding adobe fonts to Wix is impossible because the requirements are otf or .ttf file format, and adobe doesn't allow font download files.

More Hebrew Serif Fonts
It would be wonderful if you could stock up with more Hebrew serif fonts, like: Greta Text Hebrew and Fedra Serif by Typotheque, or Emuna and Bar Yochay by Masterfont.
These serif fonts would be useful for book and traditional scriptural text more than the existing sans-serif catalog.

Aktiv Grotesk Condense and Extended
Hi... I work with Vietnamese text pretty often using Active Grotesk Condense and Extended versions. Could you please add on accents to the fonts as its really not productive to this manually especially when on deadlines! I don't have this problem if I'm using the regular versions, but unfortunately really need them for the condense and extended versions. Hope you can help!
