Request for open type fonts in adobe
There are some HUGE gaps in Adobe collection, especially since you dropped former "gold-standard" Type 1.
This is a "wish-list" for OpenType fonts:
You need to replace some fonts you dropped, others that you never had, fill some gaping basic-stuff holes, flesh-out some families, try to keep things consistantly available, and some of this is simply stuff that would be nice to have.
Although support for Type 1 fonts has ended, we have not removed any fonts from our service. Many of the fonts on your list are already included in the Adobe Fonts library as part of your Creative Cloud subscription.
If you are looking to replace Type 1 fonts that are not offered in our library, we recommend reaching out to the foundry or their reseller. Further details and recommendations can be found in our help article.

Thanks for the wishlist, Doug! We will put it to good use as we continue to expand our collection.
Looking through your wishlist, fortunately several of those are already available in the Adobe Fonts library: https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts

IS ADOBE ENDEAVORING TO BE PROACTIVELY UNHELPFUL???
I suppose it's too much for Adove to understand the concept of a 'wish-list' after it took a two-month struggle to get functional customer support just to post it, much less discuss.
YES, some fonts have definitely been removed over the many years Adobe has had a font collection. Licensing issues that need to get resolved for reliable font availability.
AND there are may "holes" and "gaps" that need to be filled. Helvetica and Times, etc.
AND some families need to get fleshed-out.
AND some you may already have.
IT'S A "WISH-LIST"!

Two-month struggle just to get this wish-list uploaded
Uservoice does not accept text or allow to post in requests or comments or accept high-resolution JPG or PNG, took tech supervisor an hour to process a simple .rtf text file into a form that uservoice would accept.
Took two months of customer service not listening or understanding and looping me back to dysfunctional uservoice and their own dysfunctional service.
VERY frustrating when technical support appears to be less knowledgable than yourself and distinct impression is you are speaking to a call center with no training in or working knowledge, working from script they may or may not understand.
Responses usually demonstrate they do not understand or simply do not listen. Goes in circles, problem is systemic.
Previous (unscheduled) call-back tried to walk me through posting my list in InDesign uservoice under "bugs", and couldn't answer when I asked WHY??? Had to schedule a follow-up for his unscheduled, misdirected follow-up.
ARRRRRGH!
