  2. Hi, Scale Variable doesn't work in any of the video apps (premiere, after effects). I can confirm that this is happening across apps and for different users on different computers. When you select any weight that isn't italic, the font switches to whatever the first font on the font list is (in my case, Abril Fatface). I've included a video to demonstrate this.

  3. When using the font Alisha, the tracking/kerning of a space before the letter "o" when used at the beginning of the word, is inconsistent compared to a space before other letters. I have only noticed this with lowercase "o" but it is throughout an entire document: basically there is no space before the "o." I have had to add a double space. See attached before and after.

  4. I would love to have a possibility to click on a tag to search for fonts that only have symbols, like Swing King or others. When I enter "symbol" or "icon" or "ornament" in the search or click on the ornament tag in the side bar, I get results that are normal fonts or results that don't match my search in other ways. Please fix the mistakes in the results. For example, I was looking for a font with the name Icon (like Swing King Icons) and I got many results that did not have icon in their names nor…

  5. Search needs to be more robust. When I need a certain visual characteristic, the search results are poor when you use words like "Tall," "Thin," "Wide," "Gradient," etc. Search needs to be improved to help visually minded people by providing results based on visual descriptions.

  7. I would love to see the ITC Cheltenham family (including condensed and handtooled) available on Adobe Fonts. I know the font is distributed by Monotype, but as I recall Adobe actually developed it.

  8. Its very hard to find the fonts that you have added through adobe fonts in the creative cloud app. I often have to find fonts that I have added to be able to install in other local apps such as figma, and with over 100 fonts added, even with the filters, it becomes very annoying to do so. This is a very basic feature that should already be in the app.

  9. I even dont know where to post but I have to get out of my poison somewhere. I hate adobe. I hateeeee. You are so slow, so broken, not worth anything but you are just monopoly. There is no other option to solve my design things. I have to deal with you. I have been using adobe products for 20 years just because there is no alternatife. Hope one day there will be other alternatives and no will be a adobe anymore. I really want that

  13. The fonts by Letters from Sweden are fantastic, and would be great to have on the site -- especially the Ivar family, Lab Grotesque, and Tid. https://lettersfromsweden.se/

  14. In illustrator, I keep an expanded panel on the far right (for properties, character, align, etc.) and collapsed panel(s) to the left of it (for color, layers, glyphs, etc.).

    The problem is:
If I have a window expanded on the 'collapsed panel', like 'layers' for instance, and I want to use the 'font family' drop down menu in the character window on the expanded panel, the fonts window opens up BEHIND the layers window so I cannot see them. I have to exit out of the character window, collapse the layers window and re-enter the character window. VERY frustrating and…

  15. Some languages, such as Kiowa, use bowl-struck variants of the letters Ƀƀ Đđ Ǥǥ. DejaVu Serif provides a bowl-struck stylistic variant for Đđ Ǥǥ, but not for Ƀƀ. It would be nice if the option were available with all three pairs of letters, for full support of Kiowa and similar orthographies.

I'm not sure what I'm allowed to upload. See Unicode proposal L2/25-067 for illustrations.[https://www.unicode.org/L2/L2025/25067-bowl-struck-variants.pdf]

PS. DejaVu alt cap Ǥ has a nice, clear half stroke, reflecting what is seen in hand-designed book covers. It's nice that Adobe noticed this detail.

  16. I hate you so fully. You UI for working with fonts is beyond any bad UX nightmare. Can't you afford to just hire some licensed UX-ers? Besides that, every single Adobe app just struggles working, and "trying again" is a way of life with your apps. If you can't just do it right, then please leave us. We WILL survive.

    1. Purpose:

I am writing to propose the expansion of the Source Han family to include a "Classical Chinese" (CC) version or enhanced support for historical glyph variants. This would serve as a crucial tool for digital humanities, historical research, and the preservation of East Asian cultural heritage.

    1. Rationale:

    2-1. Regional Standard Limitations:

Current Source Han Sans/Serif fonts are optimized for modern regional standards (CN, TW, JP, KR). However, these modern standards often replace historical orthography with simplified or modernized forms, which do not accurately reflect the aesthetics or philological nuances of pre-20th-century texts.

    2-2. Digital Humanities Demand:

    There is a…
