    I've been having a complete nightmare with Open Sans between myself and a couple of colleagues. We have had missing/unable to install font error, multiple versions appearing in the dropdown, complete garbage appearing on screen and random accents/ogoneks appearing where there should be none, The crux of the solution was to disable Auto Activation of Adobe Fonts, and remove all trace of the fonts then install the latest version from Google.

    Not sure there's any point in offering fonts via Adobe Fonts if you don't maintain/keep them updated and offer the complete suite available!
