I second this. Essentially, there needs to be a search function to search for already installed fonts on the Creative Cloud app. There is currently no search functionality for this.
This is a seriously overlooked, and essential UI/UX feature for a creative app such as CC. Adobe really needs to address this. It's certainly not a difficult thing to add to the interface and push out with an upcoming software update.
If one has many fonts installed, it's a massive time suck, and nearly impossible to find what you already have installed. The only work around is to look in Adobe Fonts (website) to see if the font [family] is added. Then remove and re-add so that it falls on the top of the 'recently added' list. Such a bad result for something that really should have been considered at the most basic user experience level.
