2. Font search - Option to exclude unprofessional foundrys in search results.

   Some foundrys deliver sloppy work. I would like to exclude thes foundrys for my future searchresults if a stumble upon one who delivers work that I found unprofessional. If adobe doesnt take its curatorship serious than I would like to be able to do so myself.

5. Urgent: Adobe Fonts Management App is Failing

   I’m writing out of sheer frustration with the Adobe Fonts management app. As a design professional who relies heavily on Adobe’s ecosystem, I expect tools that work seamlessly, but the current state of the font management app is unacceptable and is actively costing me time and money.

   Here are the core issues:
   • Inconsistent Font Syncing: Fonts frequently fail to sync. Even when added, not all selected fonts appear in my library. This forces me to waste valuable time troubleshooting, restarting, or attempting workarounds.
   • Terrible UX: The app’s interface and overall experience are shockingly subpar. It’s unintuitive and doesn’t provide clear feedback on syncing status or errors. This adds layers of frustration and confusion, especially when working under tight deadlines.
   • Unreliable Functionality: The app is simply unreliable. I’ve experienced countless instances where fonts don’t sync at all, requiring me to restart the app or my system entirely. This kind of instability is unacceptable for a tool that’s supposed to support professional work.

   These issues aren’t just annoying—they’re directly impacting my productivity and my bottom line. Deadlines don’t wait, and I’ve had to spend extra time (and in some cases, money) finding workarounds or alternative solutions just to compensate for Adobe Fonts’ failures.

   Adobe has built a reputation for providing industry-standard tools, but this app is falling far short of that standard. I urge your team to take these issues seriously and prioritize fixing the app’s syncing reliability, UX, and stability. Your customers deserve better than this.

   Please let me know if there are immediate solutions or fixes to these problems. I can’t continue to deal with such an unreliable tool.

6. Adobe Fonts plug-in for Figma

   The installation of individual font families in the Creative Cloud app is clunky. It'd be great to have quick access to do that within Figma through a Figma plug-in

7. Explain why a font is 'Not available'

   I had several fonts in a web font project, but now when I go to add additional family members of that font it says 'not available' — and I have no idea why. Do I need to upgrade my plan? Are the fonts not licensable through adobe right now, and if so why?

9. Since losing InDESIGN packaging facility with fonts, I am finding it very challenging and nearly impossible to get our publication to press.

   Packaging FONTS for outside printers to use. This was such a seamless process for designers and printers. I really miss it. My installed fonts and Adobe fonts are missing in the packaging process now. PLEASE bring this option back!

10. Helvetica Neue Disappeared

    I updated my Adobe Illustrator and Adobe XD - after that on all flyers and wireframes I had Helvetica Neue used, replaced the font. And surprisingly, I have been using it for a long time and now I cannot even see it on the list.

    What just happened?

    Hi Rafia – I apologize for the inconvenience! Unfortunately we haven't offered any version of Helvetica as part of our library.

    My guess is that the font was installed locally on your computer. I'm sorry we couldn't be more helpful here.

11. add custom fonts

    I'd like the ability to use custom fonts in a Web Project.

    We can upload to Typekit and use custom fonts in offline projects, (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat etc.), how about the ability to use them in 'online' projects (dreamweaver (or any other website creation program))?

    I'm aware the webfonts can be used, but why not have the ability to collate all fonts into one Web Project/ typekit stylesheet?

    Thanks for submitting this idea! Currently the fonts users upload are added to the Creative Cloud app; they exist outside of the Adobe Fonts service. Additionally, it would be difficult to build a feature that would comply with the various End User License Agreements of the fonts users upload. 

    To support this feature we would need to overhaul our web font service, which unfortunately isn’t on our roadmap right now. Regardless, I appreciate your comments and have shared them with our product team.

12. List of Adobe subcription fonts for Type 1 substitution team project!

    Multiple team members making substitutions = inconsistency, UNLESS we can create a cross reference of our chosen Type 1 > Open Type substitutions, including what tweaks each person should make to accommodate ensuing changes to line wrap, leading, styles, etc. We can't have one person changing tracking to accommodate a new font, while another sizes the font down. Or chooses a different font...

    I know the list might change, but can we at least download a "current" list of possible choices? Surfing online through our subscription fonts to activate and test is going to be a full-time job for the thousands of packaging art and marketing documents we maintain for hundreds of customers--some of whom are VERY picky. GIVE OUR TEAM A CHECKLIST TO START WITH, AT LEAST.

    Adobe, please don't create this challenge without adequate tools for users. We aren't all just concerned with picking pretty fonts from little packages...

I've attached a list of the fonts included in our subscription library as of today. This list will quickly become outdated as we add new fonts all the time, but we hope it gives you a starting point to manage this transition. I'm sorry that we're not able to help further, but I've shared your comments with our product team for consideration.

14. character window in illustrator gets blocked by other expanded windows.

    In illustrator, I keep an expanded panel on the far right (for properties, character, align, etc.) and collapsed panel(s) to the left of it (for color, layers, glyphs, etc.).

    The problem is:
    If I have a window expanded on the 'collapsed panel', like 'layers' for instance, and I want to use the 'font family' drop down menu in the character window on the expanded panel, the fonts window opens up BEHIND the layers window so I cannot see them. I have to exit out of the character window, collapse the layers window and re-enter the character window. VERY frustrating and time consuming.

    Solution:
    When user clicks on the "Set the font family" drop down menu, it should be layered above all windows/panels since that becomes the "active" window.

15. Add stylisitic-alt support for character pair Ƀ ƀ in DejaVu Serif

    Some languages, such as Kiowa, use bowl-struck variants of the letters Ƀƀ Đđ Ǥǥ. DejaVu Serif provides a bowl-struck stylistic variant for Đđ Ǥǥ, but not for Ƀƀ. It would be nice if the option were available with all three pairs of letters, for full support of Kiowa and similar orthographies.

    PS. DejaVu alt cap Ǥ has a nice, clear half stroke, reflecting what is seen in hand-designed book covers. It's nice that Adobe noticed this detail.

16. Visual indicator for fonts already saved to Libraries

    When saving fonts to a Library in Adobe Fonts for web (images A, B), it would be helpful to indicate which ones the families have already been saved to with a checkmark (image C), instead of alerting me to that fact in a pop-up notification (B).

17. Return an honest "not found" when you don't really have a match for the font name I am searching, instead of throwing garbage at me.

    I hate you so fully. You UI for working with fonts is beyond any bad UX nightmare. Can't you afford to just hire some licensed UX-ers? Besides that, every single Adobe app just struggles working, and "trying again" is a way of life with your apps. If you can't just do it right, then please leave us. We WILL survive.

    2-2. Digital Humanities Demand:

    There is a growing need among scholars, museums, and publishers for a high-quality, open-source font that supports the "Kangxi Dictionary" style and other classical orthographic conventions consistently across the CJK unified ideographs.

    2-3. Consistency:

    Just as "Source Han KR" supports Old Hangul for historical Korean texts, the CJK project would benefit immensely from a "Classical" variant that prioritizes historical accuracy over modern administrative standards.

    1. Proposed Features:

    Inclusion of rare glyphs from Unicode CJK Extensions (B through I) frequently found in classical literature.

    A dedicated "Classical" (CC) language tag or OpenType features that toggle between modern regional forms and historical/etymological forms.
