  1. "There are a lot of fonts in here! Consider a few less for better performance." is incorrect grammar. It should be:

"Consider fewer fonts for better performance."

  3. I'm using Gibson and love it, but it seems to have a bug.

Unfortunately, if I'm going to use Gibson in InDesign, I also need to use it in third-party software. In Filemaker Pro, it's rendering incorrectly when I save records as PDF. I have worked with some other people to track down the issue and it seems to be within the font itself.

One helper downloaded the font independent of Adobe and had the same problem I did. (See attached.) He suggested that it looks like "a filing rule issue among other things."

    Thanks for looking into this.

  4. The installation of individual font families in the Creative Cloud app is clunky. It'd be great to have quick access to do that within Figma through a Figma plug-in

  6. I enjoy the new function of putting fonts in my own libraries but I find it less usable than I expected beause every font weight/style is listed by itself which means I might have to scroll through 300 fonts in list of maybe 20 . In order to quickly go thought my font options in a library I should be able to sort them by family.

  8. The results page is a mess. It's as if you're trying to show what a great designer you are. Just the information on the fonts is needed. Not examples in a myriad of colours across a myriad of styles.

  10. When searching for a new font on adobe creative cloud fonts, it would be super amazing if you could instantly determine if the font you're interested in from adobe fonts, is also available in Canva and Squarespace etc...

  11. Variable font controls are not appearing for those VF that are hosted by Adobe Fonts.
Google Fonts and fonts you upload yourself work fine. I've tested, using the same font files, and it's an Adobe Fonts issue.

I don't know if this is something to be fixed on the Webflow side or the Adobe side, but since it's Adobe's product that isn't loading correctly, I hope you lean into the problem and see if you can solve it. I'm sure if you co-operate with Webflow you can solve this swiftly.

  12. Packaging FONTS for outside printers to use. This was such a seamless process for designers and printers. I really miss it. My installed fonts and Adobe fonts are missing in the packaging process now. PLEASE bring this option back!

  15. In design school, there was once a prompt to make the least user-friendly interface possible. I think Adobe Fonts tops it.

If I tried to explain specifics I'd spend the little time I have left of my Sunday continuing to ruminate on this hunk of junk interface. I'm tired. Please do better.

  17. I mean people spent plenty of money over the years on really well-designed font collections...often time these cannot be uploaded to CS. The very least you could do is offer more high-quality type from prestigious type houses...not the generic knock-offs. Your job is to make it easier for designers to do great work. Please do not start in about the expense of licenses, you have no trouble charging your own customers hefty monthly fees. So please improve the font experience.

  18. It's very annoying and time-consuming to open a document and be told that all fonts included are inactive. Then I have to open up the Creative Cloud app, the fonts webpage, etc. to go "renew" or re-download the fonts.

Bonus: None of this has worked and even after uninstalling and reinstalling the fonts, InDesign still says they are inactive.

Bonus 2: How are these fonts "expired"? I work with these fonts in the same document at least once a month, and I have for the past two years.

This is such a waste of time. If I was a freelancer…

  19. Hi,

The 'About' section of the Interstate font states: ... 'The family was expanded to include full support for Central and Eastern Europe languages, as well as Cyrillic and Greek.'

That is however not the case with the version provided by Adobe, which only includes standard version without other languages support. I think this is an example tapping into a broader problem: Adobe customers are not treated equally. Those, whose projects involve languages other than those considered 'standard' (which in itself sounds bizarre), are out of luck. While the extended language version of this particular font exists and is advertised…

  20. Adobe does not have the font Gotham. This is a very popular font and it has been popular for a very long time. I was told by Adobe Support that it is not in the Adobe Fonts collection because it is a 3rd party font. For a long time, Adobe has been negligent and still carries way too little number of fonts, and not enough of the popular ones that are considered current to design. After collecting so much money from Adobe subscriptions, Adobe should be providing better and more fonts. This poses a huge problem for startups and freelancer…
