Better launch pad for Blog landing page
I don’t understand the structure of your Blog. I found this listing page when trying to find what was new in Adobe Fonts:
https://blog.adobe.com/en/topics/typography
I found that URL from visiting fonts.adobe.com > Latest on the blog
(Notice that top URL is within your Blog.)
But if someone goes to your Blog’s main landing page (https://blog.adobe.com)…then navigates to:
Blog > News > Product and company updates
Filter criteria: Filters > Products > Typography
(in the hopes of finding stuff related to Adobe Fonts; in other words the same subject matter as above: Typography), notice what happens:
The articles returned in this search results don’t match the first way of locating info.
Or if I go to Blog > Creativity and repeat the above steps. Same thing. I can’t return a similar search results as in the very top URL.
If you say, well it’s because I took a different path to get there, well OK. You’ve categorized your articles. I get that. But, my point is…
Why isn't there a Topics search feature that lets me find the first URL from your Blog’s main landing page (https://blog.adobe.com)? Once someone is within your Blog, there’s absolutely no way to actually find the first URL (centered around Topics > Typography).
And it to top it off: let’s say I want to find news or information on Adobe Fonts specifically. There’s no way to do that.
How did I run down this rabbit hole?
I wanted to find new fonts that have been added to Adobe Fonts. But your site leaves no easy way of doing that. All other tech companies make it easier to find product related news in chronological order. Please consider fixing this :(
Thanks for posting, Hector. I'll add updates here as they become available.
