Font search and activation
In the Creative Cloud app, fonts families appear with panels fully open. It annoys me to have to scroll! There should be the ability to collapse all fonts families at once instead of having to do it individually. Even better would be a way to search for a font in the app. The search field in the CC app searches for other things that take me to the Adobe website. I would to be able to search for a font and activate/deactivate it within the app without having to scroll to find it!

Yes, absolutely agree with requesting a search function. Whenever I have trouble with fonts and want to 'install the family' so I can use on desktop apps it takes an absolute age to scroll down, especially with a scroll bar that doesn't show me the current position on the list. Allowing a search function would save an age of time. Thank you!

YES the filtering is unbearable. A condense all feature in the Fonts section on the Creative Cloud App too, I don't need to see everything expanded

Not having a search function to filter fonts by name in 2025 using the CC app is like finding out your 32 year old son never learned how to swim.
Yes, you have a great selection of fonts, but using a clunky app during what should be a smooth creative process is such a headache. When I switch from Fontbase to CC I feel like I've traveled back in time.
Not to mention the lack of convenience of not being able to self-host font files so that I can organize them without Adobe guardrails, but that'll have to be a separate post.

Agree—this is long overdue, and would be an expected feature in literally *any* font management app. Even Font Book has this incredibly basic, but apparently overlooked (by Adobe) feature.

I second this. Essentially, there needs to be a search function to search for already installed fonts on the Creative Cloud app. There is currently no search functionality for this.
This is a seriously overlooked, and essential UI/UX feature for a creative app such as CC. Adobe really needs to address this. It's certainly not a difficult thing to add to the interface and push out with an upcoming software update.
If one has many fonts installed, it's a massive time suck, and nearly impossible to find what you already have installed. The only work around is to look in Adobe Fonts (website) to see if the font [family] is added. Then remove and re-add so that it falls on the top of the 'recently added' list. Such a bad result for something that really should have been considered at the most basic user experience level.

hi, Ranjini! oh, yeah! definitely! i didn`t know about this feature. maybe I was so anxious that I couldn't look a little deep to find this option. anyway, thanks for your time! a hug

Hi Caio,
There is a section in the Browse tab where you can see which fonts have been added.
Please let me know if this helps. -

Hello!
I would like to suggest an improvement to Adobe Fonts regarding usability and navigation to organize and manage already downloaded fonts.
Currently within the creative cloud application there is no option to search for downloaded fonts by name, there are no search filters, nor even a thumbnail preview of the fonts, in order to find the font more easily.
On the Adobe Fonts website there is no page with the list of fonts already downloaded that are being used in the Adobe applications installed on our computer.
The experience of locating a font within the Creative Cloud application is frustrating! I believe you can do better than that. Thanks!

I work in figma 95% of my time and I need to activate fonts on the Adobe Fonts site AND 'install' fonts in the Creative Cloud App in order to use them with figma. Sometimes I already have the font activated for my Adobe programs and I need to find the font to then 'install the family' for figma. The Creative Cloud app filters are only set up for recently added, newest to oldest (+ the reverse) and A to Z (+ Z to A). I need a quicker way to find the font than manually scrolling through a long list of fonts.
- Ideally, a search specific for activated fonts would be great
- Next best, the ability to expand/collapse the font families could help make the scrolling process faster.
