  1. Currently when filtering fonts, there are broad categories like serif, sans-serif, etc. I would find it useful to be able to get more specific within each. Example: when looking for a sans-serif, having the option to select humanist or grotesque. With serifs, maybe the option to filter the kind of terminals there are (ball, beak and barb, etc.)

  2. Area Normal (by Blaze Type) is served with different vertical metrics on the web than on the desktop, even though both carry the same version string (Version 2.000; Glyphs 3.4 (3400)).

Desktop (Creative Cloud font sync), all 44 Area styles:
    hhea / OS/2 typo / OS/2 win: 950 / -250, USETYPOMETRICS on

Web projects (use.typekit.net), all Area Normal upright weights we checked (100–900):
    hhea 1300 / -340, OS/2 typo 750 / -250, OS/2 win 1300 / 340, USETYPOMETRICS off

capHeight is 780 in both. Because browsers use the web files' hhea/win values, capital letters render about…

  3. I would love to see the DIN Next type family added to Adobe Fonts.

DIN Next is my preferred DIN-style typeface because of its distinctive and well-balanced letterforms, numerals, and punctuation marks. While Adobe Fonts already offers alternatives such as FF DIN and DIN 2014, neither fully meets my typographic preferences. In particular, I find DIN Next's punctuation and symbol designs more appealing, and I value the consistency of using a single, cohesive type family rather than mixing fonts.

DIN Next also offers a versatile range of weights and styles, making it suitable for signage, information design, industrial design, and…

  6. Instead of adding 5 billion new features and messing with the old ones so they don't work anymore, how about just fixing all the things you currently have. I have spent at least 8 hours trying to get the fonts I have uploaded for a project to actually be usable in the apps. Every time I close an app such as Indesign, various fonts, not necessarily the same fonts, are said to be missing. However, when I go to the fonts app, it says they are loaded. Creative Cloud says that I have (0) fonts loaded on my apps even…

  7. The license description in Corbel says that it is possible to use this font in web projects. However there is no button "Add to web project" in this font.
What is true - can we use it in web projects or not?

    Best regards

    Monika

  9. It is very time consuming having to wade through so many non-Latin fonts when browsing. I can Imagine this cuts both ways. Maybe my Hindu friends would like the ability to quickly access only Hindi fonts, etc.

  11. Back in the 1990's Adobe had a fairly decent selection of Type 1 Multiple Master fonts. A couple of those (Nueva MM and/or Tekton MM) were bundled in apps like Adobe Type Manager, IIRC. It would be great to see more of those MM typefaces from the past revived as Variable Fonts.

Some of the more familiar Adobe Originals have been remastered as Variable Fonts. Those include faces like Myriad and Kepler. An equivalent to Minion MM is included as a system font in certain Adobe apps, but isn't available via Adobe Fonts.

There are various other Adobe Originals MM…

  12. I would love to be able to browse fonts filtering specific character features, such as "G" with a tail or rounded, if the "Q" tail touches the circle, crosses, or is disconnected, if the "4" is closed or open, etc. For reference, I like how in-depth the "fonts by appearance" search is on identifont.com.

  14. Please bring back the filter that allows me to see only the fonts I have added. I use this all the time and today it's gone in favor of a couple new filters. ADD filtering options; don't take them away!

  15. There is a browser rendering issue with the Adobe Font 'Benton Modern D' on Windows operating systems, specifically affecting Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Safari.

Testing confirms a noticeable baseline shift when the browser zoom is set to 100%. Interestingly, when the zoom is dropped to 80%, the font renders correctly. This behavior points to a pixel rounding error within the font file itself when hinting or scaling on Windows. We replicated this glitch directly on the official Adobe Fonts preview page, confirming it is an issue with the hosted font file rather than local CSS.

  17. Why in the world is the font suggestions page so off? Especially the Newest fonts page. Is Berkshire one of your newest fonts?! How about Apotek? It really reflects poorly on Adobe.

  18. Hi, Scale Variable doesn't work in any of the video apps (premiere, after effects). I can confirm that this is happening across apps and for different users on different computers. When you select any weight that isn't italic, the font switches to whatever the first font on the font list is (in my case, Abril Fatface). I've included a video to demonstrate this.

  19. More serious categories, like 'Plain text', Newspaper', 'Book', 'Classic'. E.g. when choosing 'Clean' and 'Serif', nothing pops up.

E.g. when will Times or Garamond or Baskerville pop up? Are these 'Luxurious'? Horror?
