1. Multiple Fonts Have the Same XUID

3. Japanese Font Bugs

   Hi, I think we found issue that the font family doesn't support a few characters in Japanese.

   HOT -Tenshokk for example misses: 芭, 輝 and 柔

4. DeLittle Chromatic is not fully available offline

   DeLittle Chromatic, when downloaded, only has one variant (out of three) available offline. I just finished a 1 1/2 hour support chat session which ended with the support tech telling me that he discovered that this font only has all three variants available when using online apps, despite the Creative Cloud app saying that they were available and ready to use in offline apps.

   The rep said: "I understand no issue the thing is I am also getting the same error when I Add this font in my creative cloud so i am checking if this is about the font issue with font itself or not"

   "Thank you for the confirmation. I’ve just received the same information from the font team as well. I’m sorry for the inconvenience, but it appears that the only available variant is the outline, not the regular or inlay. I appreciate your understanding on this."

   "I’ve already raised the issue with the font teams, and we will definitely reach out to the font maker to ask them to add the correct information. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused, and I completely understand your frustration."

   I'm just following up here, to request that the font be made fully available, or at the very least, that it be clearly noted on that font's page that it is not available offline.

   I am attaching a screenshot of Creative Cloud, showing the fonts ostensibly being available, while -- according to Adobe support -- they are not.

6. Separate "font suggestions" from "no results found" in search results

   Adobe Fonts recently updated the way search results work. If there are no results for your query, recommended fonts are displayed instead. There is a disclaimer message at the top right, but it is very easy to get confused and think the desired font is somehow further down in the results. Please return the previous "no fonts found" messaging to the top of the search results, and place the font suggestions in a separate section below.

   Search has also worsened in quality recently, making search results more difficult to parse. When searching "Caslon", three rows of suggestions appear for unrelated fonts. In order to find Adobe Font's offerings for Caslon, you need to search a specific query such as "King's Caslon" or "Adobe Caslon". Even then, only that one version of the font appears. Currently, the only way I've found to review all the different types of Caslon offered is to Google "Caslon" + "Adobe Fonts". As a result, I no longer use the search feature on Adobe Fonts, and instead opt for using Google. The list on Google lacks the visual component that Adobe has, meaning it isn't a perfect solution.

   I do not mind being suggested fonts that are visually similar to what I'm looking for, but often I'm looking for something very specific, and just want to know if Adobe Fonts has it, or if I'll need to source it elsewhere. I think if the font suggestions were separated below the actual search results, it would help. At the same time, please ensure that partial queries (such as "caslon" or "garamond") pull up font results that include those queries in the title. Currently, the way the results display make it seem like Adobe's search engine doesn't understand what you're looking for. Thank you for your consideration.

7. Have the fonts that are activated online actually show up in the software!

   It would be amazing if the fonts that I am forced to activate online would actually show up in the software!! Once they are activated, I get to use them! There are many times I reopen my project and the fonts are missing even though Adobe says they are activated in the cloud. Amazing theory but their software doesn't initiate them. Perhaps the developers should focus on having them work.

8. Amandine font bug

   The Amandine font on the Italic style, doesnt display the letters "l" & "k" when they are together. Seems that the letter "k" overlaps the letter "l" and preview as a single "k".

11. Feature Request: Character-Specific Font Filtering

    Dear Adobe Fonts Team,

    I frequently need to find fonts that include specific characters, like ℗ or certain accents. Currently, there's no way to filter fonts based on the presence of specific characters. Adding this feature would be very useful for users who require specific characters for their work, including those working with different languages.

12. The fonts not syncing

    I don't know how to fix this because it's the most unbearable issue to get around. I can't tell you how many times I've lost hours because the front of the font Adobe Typkit does not sync with InDesign. Then InDesign does not let you clear the background tasks. The whole Adobe suite of programs is slowly becoming a pile of shit. I have done everything to try to fix this on my own. Restarting the computer, updating the programs, uninstalling the program and fonts over and over and over and it's always one or two fonts that can never sync. Then when they do the next time I open the file the other fonts don't sync. How can anyone work like this let alone take Adobe seriously? At what point will Adobe try to fix this?

    Does anyone have any suggestions on other programs that could replace InDesign? or how I could save the fonts locally on my PC?

13. Please aquire the Hanley Pro Complete Family

    I have a client that had a logo designed by someone else and they had purchased Hanley Pro Complete Family fonts from MyFonts (we do have proof of purchase so that the logo is safe). I cannot use the font for future branding reasons without having to pay. I would like Adobe Fonts to get this font family of 23 different versions please.

14. Improve specific letter forms in Source Sans 3

    I would like to suggest improvements to the letter forms in Source Sans 3. The uppercase J could have a line at the top to make it more traditional. The lowercase q could have a hook. The lowercase t should be a traditional letter rather than a script t. The uppercase A should be a single story A. The uppercase I should be a traditional letter rather than just a single vertical line. The lowercase a should be a traditional look rather than a double story a. The lowercase j should be a traditional letter. The uppercase Y should be a script style rather than a traditional style. The lowercase y should be a script y rather than a double story y. Please make these changes and ensure the font is 100% perfect.

17. Out of date / misleading explanation for why web fonts must be loaded from use.typekit.net

    Good day, I'm a lead developer at Penn State Outreach Marketing, and I have a proposal for helping improve certain web vitals metrics for users of Adobe fonts. We have found that the use of Adobe fonts is presently a bottleneck for our continued LCP/CLS tuning efforts.

    Adobe's documentation at https://helpx.adobe.com/fonts/using/use-typekit-net.html claims that...

    "The CDN allows your fonts to be cached at many locations around the world, to ensure that they can be delivered to your website visitors as quickly as possible."

    However this isn't always true -- at least not nowadays...

    The use of using an Adobe hosted CSS file in order to load @font-face information will add an additional HTTP roundtrip to the critical rendering path. In order for first paint to occur, unless a font is set to font-display: swap, the user agent must...

    1. Request and parse the DOM response

    2. Request, download, parse, and evaluate the CSS response from https://use.typekit.net/*/*.css

    3. Request, download, and apply the font assets

    For users that are literally optimizing for milliseconds in order to meet Google's Web Vitals thresholds, that extra round-trip is sometimes a deal-breaker.

    Wouldn't a better approach be to eliminate step #2 and allow end-users to embed the @font-faces directly in their DOM responses? That would completely remove font loading from the critical rendering path for users that are using font-display: swap, and greatly reduce the layout shifting impact of users who opt to use font-display: swap.

    HTTP roundtrips on mobile data plans can easily "cost" 600 milliseconds. By offering users the ability to embed the @font-faces directly in the DOM response, still keeping the fonts hosted by Adobe, this seems to be a best of both worlds compromise. The fonts wouldn't need to be "self hosted" by end-users, and end-users wouldn't need to regress on performance in order to use Adobe fonts.

    What would be needed from Adobe? Font binaries hosted on Adobe's servers that have backwards-compatibility guarantees -- meaning that the path to the font would not change.

    What would be needed from End Users? Nothing! It could be an opt-in feature!

    pour un projet d'école je dois trouver une police qui a un thème asiatique , qui nous fait penser aux japon sans que le texte sois ecrit en japonais .

    il serait bien que vous elargissiez vos mots clés avec par exemple "asie" qui pourrait regrouper toutes les polices asiatiques et de styles asiatiques .

19. Enable browsing ALL fonts alphabetically

    I need to browse through every font in the Adobe Fonts collection and in order to ensure I don't miss any, I display them alphabetically. However, displaying all fonts in alphabetical order is currently impossible because the system limits pagination to a maximum of 200 pages, which only shows fonts up to the letter K. How to show all the rest, from K to Z?

20. Gibson font bug

    I'm using Gibson and love it, but it seems to have a bug.

    Unfortunately, if I'm going to use Gibson in InDesign, I also need to use it in third-party software. In Filemaker Pro, it's rendering incorrectly when I save records as PDF. I have worked with some other people to track down the issue and it seems to be within the font itself.

    One helper downloaded the font independent of Adobe and had the same problem I did. (See attached.) He suggested that it looks like "a filing rule issue among other things."
