  1. I'm using Gibson and love it, but it seems to have a bug.

Unfortunately, if I'm going to use Gibson in InDesign, I also need to use it in third-party software. In Filemaker Pro, it's rendering incorrectly when I save records as PDF. I have worked with some other people to track down the issue and it seems to be within the font itself.

One helper downloaded the font independent of Adobe and had the same problem I did. (See attached.) He suggested that it looks like "a filing rule issue among other things."

    Thanks for looking into this.

  2. I had several fonts in a web font project, but now when I go to add additional family members of that font it says 'not available' — and I have no idea why. Do I need to upgrade my plan? Are the fonts not licensable through adobe right now, and if so why?

  3. The "Add Family" and "Remove Family" buttons should be replaced by "Activate and Deactivate Family" buttons to match the "Activate and Deactivate" buttons in the font menus of Adobe applications, since these are different words with different meanings and tend to create confusion when activating a font. There should be consistency between the Adobe Fonts buttons and the buttons in all Adobe applications.

It's a small detail to improve the interface and make it much more intuitive, best regards to the entire Adobe Fonts team.

  4. We have a mono option that applies to the whole typeface. But searching for fonts with fixed width numerics is hopeless. Eurostile is an example. Great for graphs, tables, scoreboards.

  6. I enjoy the new function of putting fonts in my own libraries but I find it less usable than I expected beause every font weight/style is listed by itself which means I might have to scroll through 300 fonts in list of maybe 20 . In order to quickly go thought my font options in a library I should be able to sort them by family.

  7. Users should be able to 'hide' fonts that they don't want to see in the drop down menu. System fonts like 'Noto Sans' essentially divide the whole menu with a large number of fonts that can't be deleted from the system. Having the ability to hide these fonts is the solution that many people have been asking for, but for some reason both adobe and apple have ignored the problem.

  10. An issue where the bold and black variations are rendering as Oblique / Italic, even though these are not. In the desktop CC apps these are available in 'Normal' but not on the web?

  11. We use Adobe Fonts for several of our projects (e.g., https://gegenfeld.com/, https://jntzn.com and https://jntzn.de) and are very pleased so far. But it would be cool to have more Bauhaus-style fonts, similar to Futura (https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/futura-pt). Keep up the good work!

  12. I was trying to contact font designer Robert Slimbach directly about this issue, but that (unsurprisingly) was not so easy. The issue is that Adobe Kis does not contain a fj-ligature, something which I fully expect a full featured font from Adobe to have (the other great fonts by Slimbach, like Warnock, Minion and Garamond Premier all have this). The letter combination fj is unheard of in English, but very common in Norwegian, so a discerning designer in Norway will avoid fonts that have no fj ligature. So even though Adobe Kis is a really great font, and I was…

  13. I’m writing out of sheer frustration with the Adobe Fonts management app. As a design professional who relies heavily on Adobe’s ecosystem, I expect tools that work seamlessly, but the current state of the font management app is unacceptable and is actively costing me time and money.

    Here are the core issues:
    • Inconsistent Font Syncing: Fonts frequently fail to sync. Even when added, not all selected fonts appear in my library. This forces me to waste valuable time troubleshooting, restarting, or attempting workarounds.
    • Terrible UX: The app’s interface and overall experience are shockingly subpar. It’s unintuitive and doesn’t…

  14. I have an arabic letter to convert to Word format which is not able to convert due to the arabic font not support for the acrobats pro. I would like to request for adding this facility to fulfill the customer request as subscriber.

  15. The results page is a mess. It's as if you're trying to show what a great designer you are. Just the information on the fonts is needed. Not examples in a myriad of colours across a myriad of styles.

  18. There are fonts without lowercase letters. I would like a search filter. A selection of fonts with lowercase letters and without lowercase letters.

  19. Your current categorization "system" – Hallowe'en (?!), Fun, Futuristic, etc. – appeals to amateurs and is near useless to professional typesetters.

I want to be able to see if a font has small caps, is suitable for body copy in books or is better for headlines and display, etc. It would also be great to be able to view by date designed and other typographic fine-tuning options.

Adobe has been in the font business for many decades. I would think that you could offer far better tools to find your font offerings.

    Thanks,

    Gareth

  20. Please add Uzbek Cyrillic to the menu. I believe it's essential to include this language because of the vast market and the significant demand for this search option.
