  1. Some languages, such as Kiowa, use bowl-struck variants of the letters Ƀƀ Đđ Ǥǥ. DejaVu Serif provides a bowl-struck stylistic variant for Đđ Ǥǥ, but not for Ƀƀ. It would be nice if the option were available with all three pairs of letters, for full support of Kiowa and similar orthographies.

I'm not sure what I'm allowed to upload. See Unicode proposal L2/25-067 for illustrations.[https://www.unicode.org/L2/L2025/25067-bowl-struck-variants.pdf]

PS. DejaVu alt cap Ǥ has a nice, clear half stroke, reflecting what is seen in hand-designed book covers. It's nice that Adobe noticed this detail.

  3. Fix your font search by description. When I search for "big solid angular font," I get thin fonts, rounded fonts, and script fonts.

I've attached the top four results for "Big blocky font" -- not one of them is blocky, and 3 of the four are thin script fonts. Seriously, did you even test this feature?

  5. Subject: Font mapping bug - "j꽉찬고딕A" shows '!' instead of space on macOS

    Hello Adobe Fonts team,

There is a glyph mapping issue in the font "j꽉찬고딕A" (JJGgwakchanGothicA).
On macOS, every space character (U+0020) is rendered as an exclamation mark ('!') in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Figma.
However, on Windows it displays normally.

After inspecting the OTF file from the CoreSync cache, I found that:
    - U+0020 (space) is mapped to glyph cid2
    - cid2 appears to be the same glyph as U+0021 ('!')

This indicates that the font’s cmap or glyph ID mapping is corrupted on the macOS distribution.

    Could…

  6. My 'browse all' tab keeps adding the filter western. I few weeks ago I used this filter and since, every time I get on, it reapplies the filters from that day. When I clear the filters put in new ones and then go to the next few pages it will randomly go back to the western group of filters. Then, I have to redo my search and go back to the page I was on. This is getting very frustrating.

  7. The new Clother font is beautiful, but the Hebrew vowels don't align properly underneath the letters, making it unusable for Hebrew words with vowels.

  9. When using a lowercase letter 'i' after a lowercase 'f', the 'i' disappears. This can be seen within Adobe software, in Adobe Fonts, and in other programs as well. I do not know if this happens with any other letter combinations.

Update: I found that it also occurs when a lowercase 'L' follows an 'f'. The 'L' disappears.

  12. I hate you so fully. You UI for working with fonts is beyond any bad UX nightmare. Can't you afford to just hire some licensed UX-ers? Besides that, every single Adobe app just struggles working, and "trying again" is a way of life with your apps. If you can't just do it right, then please leave us. We WILL survive.

  15. It seems Adobe Fonts service inconsistently provides OTF features across different apps.

In one particular case, I wanted to use Stylistic Set 02 of IvyPresto Text font (italic cyrillic letters) in a personal web project of mine. They were available in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, but were not possible to choose/activate in Adobe Fonts Web Projects. This inconsistency is pretty annoying as it makes picking the font and relying on it much more difficult.

  18. While exploring Aldine and Adobe Kis for French-language typesetting, I noticed a couple of small issues:

    • After a capital “L”, the kerning of the apostrophe seems overly tight when followed by certain lowercase vowels such as a, e, or o (actually, in some cases, it appears even tighter than if the apostrophe were not present at all). This can cause unfortunate ambiguities in French, where a phrase like “L’aine” might be visually mistaken for “Laine”—two words with very different meanings.

    • In combinations like “fè”, the ascender of the f tends to collide or nearly touch the è. While tight spacing…
