  1. Hi. There's currently no way to use Adobe Fonts with the new Gutenberg system in WordPress 6.5. That is, unless you add a 3rd party page builder theme.

As I hear it, they're building an API for their new WP font manager, so work is needed on the Adobe end to plug Adobe Fonts in.

This is a new / forthcoming issue. They published the release candidate of WP 6.5 a week ago, and before that it was a beta for a while.

I was asked by Adobe staff to post this here as a reply to a forum question.…

  4. When using Duffy Script in a web page, it overruns the width of its containing paragraph. You can see the issue in this jsfiddle by making the width of the right-hand pane smaller: https://jsfiddle.net/GeorgeMooWoof/4x50etdy/8/

  5. Why not sort the fonts in order of Unicode compliance when a sample sentence is entered? (I do not need to see the "featured" fonts when most of the characters I actually need are represented by rectangles.)

  6. It's very sad to see how much Adobe's quality, in all of its products, is decreasing over the time. There are fewer fonts in it's portfolio and have removed fonts that were included in past time.

  7. URGENT REQUEST!
Hi, I work with Syriac fonts academically (e.g. Estrangela, Serto, etc.) and need to:
    1. use them in the Text features in copiable text when working in layers within Adobe Suite Applications (Fresco, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) for scholarly projects to be recognized in all of Adobe suite applications.
    2. I would also like to copy tables with specific dimensions and Syriac text with the ability to process Syriac Text (similar to MSWord Processing) in Adobe Suite Apps including Fresco, Illustrator and Photoshop.

Here is a link with an example of the fonts (Unicode): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syriac_(Unicode_block)#:~:text=Syriac%20is%20a%20Unicode%20block,Arabic%20among%20Syriac%2Dspeaking%20Christians.

    Thanks!

  8. When I search for a specific font it's for a specific job and that's the font I need. There are times when substituting anything else is not acceptable. Please, first show me the font I need or tell me you don't have it, then add suggestions. Thank you.

  9. Please make fonts automatically install in non-adobe apps like before. I noticed the fonts are not showing up in my third party font manager any longer and after lots of restarting and re-syncing i realized there was a change in service.

This is a terrible user experience. it now feels like i have to activate everything twice one by one.

At least put a preference so we can get future fonts to install everywhere. Rather than have to individually change them.

  10. Can you please add more technical information, including the ability to preview a font's full list of characters - similar to the glyph flyout menu?

Also - please improve the search capabilities. Right now, when I need a font, I must first go to OTHER websites like fonts.com to do my research and preview the full character list. When i narrow down my choices, i then go BACK to adobe fonts and cross my fingers and hope you have what i need. For the amount of money I pay each month, this should not be my experience.

    You need to…

  16. Allow shared management of font web projects. without this ability you can lose access to web projects if someone leaves the team, etc. It also makes it hard to add font weights, verify ownership, etc.

I can't create a shared dummy account either due to cost issues.

  19. Variable font controls are not appearing for those VF that are hosted by Adobe Fonts.
Google Fonts and fonts you upload yourself work fine. I've tested, using the same font files, and it's an Adobe Fonts issue.

I don't know if this is something to be fixed on the Webflow side or the Adobe side, but since it's Adobe's product that isn't loading correctly, I hope you lean into the problem and see if you can solve it. I'm sure if you co-operate with Webflow you can solve this swiftly.

  20. Why adobe font hasnt search by Cyrillic font indicator?
my language is bulgarian, but cyrillic fonts are used by 70 languages and about 300 milions people. There are Macedonian, Russian, Serbian... my country is missing. But most fonts for Cyrillic countries have the same letters.
The search option in adobe has to have cyrillic!
