  1. There is no Cyrillic filter option on https://fonts.adobe.com/. I wanted to upgrade my Adobe account to include Illustrator, but all the work I am going to do is with Cyrillic fonts and upon trying to see if there are any good ones on Adobe, I couldn't because the filter is simply missing. I am guessing the same is true for the in-app search as well.

The key to using Adobe Fonts offline is to 1. Not log out of the  Creative Cloud desktop app, and 2. Don't shut down your computer. As  long as you remain signed in after losing internet, you should be able  to continue working with the fonts.

I know  this is not ideal, and I'm sorry to hear you ran into this issue. Our  team appreciates your feedback and we hope to improve this experience.

  3. I don't know how this is still missing at managing fonts with adobe software, but it will be a lot easier to find a font that has a Cyrillic variation, if there is a switch for that.
Now I need to scroll through every font in the list, that I have, just to find fonts that supports Cyrillic. It's really annoying and not really a fast process.

  5. Good day, I'm a lead developer at Penn State Outreach Marketing, and I have a proposal for helping improve certain web vitals metrics for users of Adobe fonts. We have found that the use of Adobe fonts is presently a bottleneck for our continued LCP/CLS tuning efforts.

Adobe's documentation at https://helpx.adobe.com/fonts/using/use-typekit-net.html claims that...

"The CDN allows your fonts to be cached at many locations around the world, to ensure that they can be delivered to your website visitors as quickly as possible."

However this isn't always true -- at least not nowadays...

The use of using an Adobe hosted CSS…

  6. The ability to manage the different versions of the fonts in a specific admin console, for company accounts, to define which version must be used by the end users in the company and, if needed, force the font update in all the end user machines.
This is requested because when fonts are updated and the changes are related with kerning or characters, inside a company with several layout designers, can lead to different results because different users can have different versions of a font.
Related with this request, users should be informed when a font is updated in Adobe Fonts

  7. I have used it in so many past projects that I currently use and believe Adobe used to sell it in its Postscript format [which Adobe no longer supports]. Please make it available in the Adobe font library so that it can be used again in Adobe software.

  8. It's very annoying and time-consuming to open a document and be told that all fonts included are inactive. Then I have to open up the Creative Cloud app, the fonts webpage, etc. to go "renew" or re-download the fonts.

Bonus: None of this has worked and even after uninstalling and reinstalling the fonts, InDesign still says they are inactive.

Bonus 2: How are these fonts "expired"? I work with these fonts in the same document at least once a month, and I have for the past two years.

This is such a waste of time. If I was a freelancer…

  11. please place a filter in the adobe font library for which fonts have ligatures and swashes. it is truly disappointing to have to load a font in an application before seeing if they have ligatures/swatches—takes much time. thank you for your good help.

  12. I tried to use the search by image feature to see if there are any Adobe fonts similar to Genty, and most of the results it gave me were symbol fonts (where each letter types an icon instead of the letter itself). When identifying the letters in my image, it got most of them correct - I just had to correct the capital T and lowercase L, which were misidentified - which means it could tell it was a normal font, not a symbol font, and yet it still suggested symbol fonts as a possible match. I followed the guidelines…

  14. SCROLLING IN LARGE QUANTITIES
If I as a professional am looking for a font I want to be able to scroll. Now I have to look and then click to the next page over and over again. This gives a big delay in the process. Websites like DaFont give you the option to look per 25, 500 100 or 200 fonts. I d not understand how a company specialized in graphic software can miss this and needs to be asked for this feature.

  15. Adobe does not have the font Gotham. This is a very popular font and it has been popular for a very long time. I was told by Adobe Support that it is not in the Adobe Fonts collection because it is a 3rd party font. For a long time, Adobe has been negligent and still carries way too little number of fonts, and not enough of the popular ones that are considered current to design. After collecting so much money from Adobe subscriptions, Adobe should be providing better and more fonts. This poses a huge problem for startups and freelancer…

  16. Hello,

Aktiv Grotesk font by Dalton Maag has a VF (variable) version for about couple years now, but that is not added to Adobe Fonts.

Also, the newest version of the font is 5.xx offered by the foundry, but it seems that we have version 4.xx on Adobe Fonts.

Please add the VF font variant of Aktiv Grotesk (as already offered for other Dalton Maag fonts here).

  17. As a Designer working to create branding, identity and logos, for over 25 years, when searching for a font to use for literally anything, I need to quickly see all font styles at once and don't have time to manually turn down every folders' arrow to preview them individually. Sometimes different styles look entirely different than the version presented by default, and this can't be anticipated. It's better to have the option to preview all styles than making users do more work accomplish this. I've found that having this feature (as you can in Suitcase) is a HUGE time saving…

  20. The duality and split personalities of browsing/activating fonts from the web, but managing them in the CC app functions poorly and is frustrating. You start your search in the App where your tools are centralized. It sends you to the web to browse. Then it sends you back to CC to manage your installed fonts and— no, it doesn't. 'Manage fonts' leads to a black hole. Eventually you find the options in their poor location in CC. But, there are conflicts with local fonts you had installed. Then things start getting really weird—fonts fail to activate or deactivate, and you…
