  1. While exploring Aldine and Adobe Kis for French-language typesetting, I noticed a couple of small issues:

    • After a capital “L”, the kerning of the apostrophe seems overly tight when followed by certain lowercase vowels such as a, e, or o (actually, in some cases, it appears even tighter than if the apostrophe were not present at all). This can cause unfortunate ambiguities in French, where a phrase like “L’aine” might be visually mistaken for “Laine”—two words with very different meanings.

    • In combinations like “fè”, the ascender of the f tends to collide or nearly touch the è. While tight spacing…

  2. My team and I have had instances where fonts would disappear in Adobe Fonts mid project. We would be at the end of a project, ready to finalize, and an InDesign file would show the font disappearing. Not deactivated. But completely gone.

Balboa is the most recent example. The Regular, and Italic variations all just disappeared. We opened a document and get 180 missing font errors on the day it's to go to print. This wreaks havoc on our layouts. Fonts should NEVER completely disappear.

  3. Please make fonts automatically install in non-adobe apps like before. I noticed the fonts are not showing up in my third party font manager any longer and after lots of restarting and re-syncing i realized there was a change in service.

This is a terrible user experience. it now feels like i have to activate everything twice one by one.

At least put a preference so we can get future fonts to install everywhere. Rather than have to individually change them.

  6. Filtering fonts by Serif, Sans Serif, etc. – like in the apps themselves – would be helpful when managing in CC desktop.

  7. I would love to see a section on a font’s page that shows complementary fonts (fonts that pair well with the searched font).

  8. To be able to search for specific attributes in font families that are symbols or outlined or illustrative would be helpful. I have a project where I need to use a lot of symbols and I would like to be able to see all of the symbols available. At this point, there are no predetermined tags for symbols.

  9. Search by theme
I would like to be able to search by theme like Romantic, Celtic, Athletic, etc in Adobe Fonts. I've had minimal luck doing a google search.

  11. We have multiple developers on our team, and need to be able to manage projects centrally, have them persist beyond a given employee's employment, and be modified by anyone on the team.

  12. I would really like to "pin" a font I know I will be using to the "Search fonts" sample text windows. A small sub-card in the top left of the window could work great to display a short string driven by a text input and dropdown search of saved fonts in the filters tab.

  13. Sometimes when I open any Adobe program that uses fonts, some of them appear to be missing, although I have used them in the same file for a long time. This time it seems all the fonts are missing, and I am logged into my account.
This in very asnnoying, how do I fix this?
I have the creative cloud and fonts online open, they show all the fonts exist inmy library, but to unisntall and reinstall them every time is very annoying.
    Any help appreciated.

  15. Fonts automatically disappeared in my illustrator very often and I was not able to call them back.
(Very frustrating issues, especially in ongoing projects...)

I tried to activate a font through Adobe fonts website and Creative Cloud many times, but both of them failed.
(My computer, illustrator, and creative cloud apps are all new and new updated.)

What happened often was that I activated the whole family of fonts, but only some of them was activated.

For example, I tried to activate "Questa Sans" Family with 10 fonts included, but only 9 of them were actually activated and able to…

  16. A sturdy and failsafe fontmanager, apart from the CC app. With sets, folders, rankings. This makes it more easy to activate / deactivate font sets per project.

  17. I would love to see font categories for the different decades in graphic art history. For example, common fonts used during the 1950s.

  18. There are fonts without lowercase letters. I would like a search filter. A selection of fonts with lowercase letters and without lowercase letters.

  20. Hello,

it would be nice to search for a certain font-look-a-like AND simultaneously search for features that are needed. For example when you need a typo that supports Romanian language (glyphs) but it must look like Interstate which doesn't support Romanian glyphs.
