  1. Search for specific attributes in fonts

    To be able to search for specific attributes in font families that are symbols or outlined or illustrative would be helpful. I have a project where I need to use a lot of symbols and I would like to be able to see all of the symbols available. At this point, there are no predetermined tags for symbols.

    Search by theme
    I would like to be able to search by theme like Romantic, Celtic, Athletic, etc in Adobe Fonts. I've had minimal luck doing a google search.

    We have multiple developers on our team, and need to be able to manage projects centrally, have them persist beyond a given employee's employment, and be modified by anyone on the team.

  5. Font Pairing In Search

    I would really like to "pin" a font I know I will be using to the "Search fonts" sample text windows. A small sub-card in the top left of the window could work great to display a short string driven by a text input and dropdown search of saved fonts in the filters tab.

  6. Add Photoshop’s Match Font Engine in After Effects 2025

    1. The user selects or imports a screenshot containing text.
    2. The panel analyzes the letterforms in the image.
    3. It searches for visually similar fonts.
    4. It displays the closest matches and allows the user to apply or activate the selected font in After Effects.

  7. Improve your font search parameters.

    The parameters/meta tagging used to search fonts clearly does not match designer vernacular. Definitely feels like a bunch of techys/engineers designed the parameters. I have 10,000 fonts loaded on my computer and feel like your library lacks compared to mine which I know is not true. But I will choose scrolling through my 10,000 over using adobe fonts search functions most of the time because I do not find success in what I am looking for. the fact that I can only look at like 10 fonts per page, and how fonts are shown is slow and cumbersome.   8. Enable Dingbats/Symbol/Emoji/Ornament font search

    I would love to have a possibility to click on a tag to search for fonts that only have symbols, like Swing King or others. When I enter "symbol" or "icon" or "ornament" in the search or click on the ornament tag in the side bar, I get results that are normal fonts or results that don't match my search in other ways. Please fix the mistakes in the results. For example, I was looking for a font with the name Icon (like Swing King Icons) and I got many results that did not have icon in their names nor…

  9. Search by shape characteristics, such as Tall, Thin, etc.

    Search needs to be more robust. When I need a certain visual characteristic, the search results are poor when you use words like "Tall," "Thin," "Wide," "Gradient," etc. Search needs to be improved to help visually minded people by providing results based on visual descriptions.

  13. Support OTF features consistently across apps

    It seems Adobe Fonts service inconsistently provides OTF features across different apps.

    In one particular case, I wanted to use Stylistic Set 02 of IvyPresto Text font (italic cyrillic letters) in a personal web project of mine. They were available in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, but were not possible to choose/activate in Adobe Fonts Web Projects. This inconsistency is pretty annoying as it makes picking the font and relying on it much more difficult.

  14. Make fonts acually appear in the font menu in illustrator after adding them would be helpful.

    frustrating that one pays so much money for a software that is supposed to simplify and streamline creative work. Adding fonts on should not be such a difficult process that requires multiple restarts.

  15. Adobe Kis and Aldine should be purchasable on third-party platforms.

    As a lawyer, I own and use Arno and Minion 3 to write briefs, as Adobe makes some of the best text serif families around. However, since my workflow uses Word and other non-Adobe tools, I need to be able to purchase offline font files instead of using the Adobe Fonts platform. Historically, Adobe Originals font families have been purchasable on third-party platforms, like MyFonts or Fontspring. The newest Adobe Originals families, Aldine and Kis, should also be made available to purchase on third-party platforms (perhaps after some period of exclusivity if Adobe wants to promote CC subscriptions).

  16. Adding fonts to Illustrator can be a little cumbersome.

    Adding fonts would be easier if I didn't have to restart Adobe Illustrator every time to utilize it.

    I would love to see font categories for the different decades in graphic art history. For example, common fonts used during the 1950s.

  19. Search filter of fonts with lowercase letters and without lowercase letters.

    There are fonts without lowercase letters. I would like a search filter. A selection of fonts with lowercase letters and without lowercase letters.
