1. Two ways to create better navigation within the manage fonts section

   1. It would be helpful to filter and sort through the fonts in our font libraries the same way we search for them in the search bar on the landing page.

   2. It would be lovely to have a search bar in the manage fonts section. Even if we know the name of the fonts we have or don't have, when we want to find them, we only have the option to scroll to them or reorganize the list of fonts alphabetically. I've found this time-consuming, making the experience of working with the site too slow at times when I'm working on projects and have a tight schedule.

2. Add and allow fonts to be "copied as base64"

   It would be great to have an option to copy a specific font (not the whole font family) as base64 string to directly use it in CSS as "src" of a @font-face rule.

   This helps to get rid of flashing of fonts that have not yet been loaded. Making this possible on per font file bases allows us to add fonts that appear above-the-fold load with the page itself. Currently, while fonts from Adobe are loading the user sees a fallback font, when load completes it swaps the font causing a Cumulative Layout Shift if a few parameters dont match (fonts have different x height, different line height at same pixel value, etc). By loading one font (A heading font file at a certain weight for example) only adds a few KBs (as base64 string) to the page. Not enough to cause a performance hit, but fixes the font flashing and Cumulative Layout Shift casued by font swapping completely.

   Right now it is possible to do by dowloading font files from the Network tab in the browser's developer tools and convering it to base64 manually. So technicaly this works perfectly. If the feature is never implemented, allowing it from the legal standpoint would be great and could be pashe 1 of implementing this feature.

4. Allow single use of Chinese Characters.

   The FAQ for font licensing says that single characters or glyphs cannot be used for engravings and such. However, certain things can only be represented by a single character. This is understandable with Latin characters, where a single letter can become an almost infinite number of words or phrases, but with Chinese it is much more finite and isn't necessarily used for creating words or phrases like Latin characters are. I believe there should be an exemption of this rule for Chinese characters and similar languages that represent things with single characters, perhaps except for copyrighting logos, as it is very restrictive.

5. standard

   Create a filter to view and further refine only the standard fonts shipped with Adobe Creative Cloud. My enterprise license does not allow the use of Adobe Fonts and I frequently have trouble finding suitable fonts that have the styles required inside (bold, italic, etc.) It would be nice to be able to drill down and compare my options on this site since clicking them one by one in InDesign is time consuming.

   URGENT!!!!!

   Adobe is discontinuing support for its own "gold standard" typw 1 fonts, but has no practical catalog of current collection, needed to know what fonnts I DO NOT need to replace.
   I NEED COMPLETE LIST OF 20K+ FONTS TO CONPARE WITH CURRENT COLLECTION.
   No practical means of doing so on Adobe web site.
   NEED COMPLETE CATALOG IMMEDIATELY (NEED LEAD TIME BEFORE ADOBE STOPS SUPPORTING ITS OWN TYPE 1 FORMAT)

7. How about not deleting fonts that I am actively using?

   Here's my idea: when I start designing a new book, and I pick a certain font, and spend several days developing the design, it would be nice if the font didn't suddenly disappear from Adobe Fonts, with no notification and no explanation.

   Here's another idea: how about, when I spend about ten minutes just navigating Adobe's telephone menu to speak to an operator, someone at the other end could actually pick up the phone rather than just letting it ring and eventually go dead?

8. Allow tidying of previously active fonts

   Suggestion: make it possible to remove fonts from the "previously active" list in the Creative Cloud app.

   Sometimes you try and then firmly reject a font, or have fonts you used long ago for just one project and are really unlikely to need again. It would be nice to be able to remove these even from the "previously active" list, as it grows longer!

9. Fix Font Syncing UX

   The current font syncing UX through creative cloud is extremely frustrating. After downloading a dozen font families, those families are constantly disappearing off of my computer (even though the families are still selected as active) and requiring me to re-download/install them individually by font weight/style. This means having to click the "download/install" button 10+ times for every single font family, meaning 100's of clicks for a full library, which has to be re-done every few months. On top of that, the fonts are re-arranged within the list immediately after the download button is clicked (I'm assuming because they're ordered by last modified date?), making it completely unusable for anything larger than two font families, as the font you're trying to download instantly jumps to the top of a long list.

   Potential fixes for this problem:
   1. If a font is selected as activated, don't remove it from the system. (Adding this as a preference would be fine too if need be). I can only assume this is a licensing thing because why would you un-download an activated font automatically??
   2. If that's not possible, have a "Re-download All" button that downloads all active fonts, or at the very least add a download button next to each family as opposed to by individual weight.
   3. Don't reorder the list as download buttons are being clicked (or just order by name so it doesn't reorder by last modified following every click) so the fonts aren't jumping around as you're trying to re-download.

   Any/all of these should be fairly easy fixes to one of the worst UX's I've ever been subjected to. (end rant and thanks for the consideration, we all appreciate it!!)

   PS If a "download all" feature exists and I've just missed it, disregard all that, but haven't found a way to download more than one font weight at a time.

11. Let us use our fonts on mobile apps for Android

    For Android apps, it seems additional fonts are disabled. It would be really nice to be able to use any Adobe font on Android apps. All of them, but for example it would be nice to make an ad on Adobe Express from wherever I am without having to use a computer. It's 2022, a lot of professionals are on the go all the time. Be nice to be able to crank out an ad at the drop of a hat with the fonts the company I work for actually uses without having to drag a clunky laptop everywhere or use the janky browser app that cuts off half of the workspace.

12. List of Adobe subcription fonts for Type 1 substitution team project!

    Multiple team members making substitutions = inconsistency, UNLESS we can create a cross reference of our chosen Type 1 > Open Type substitutions, including what tweaks each person should make to accommodate ensuing changes to line wrap, leading, styles, etc. We can't have one person changing tracking to accommodate a new font, while another sizes the font down. Or chooses a different font...

    I know the list might change, but can we at least download a "current" list of possible choices? Surfing online through our subscription fonts to activate and test is going to be a full-time job for the thousands of packaging art and marketing documents we maintain for hundreds of customers--some of whom are VERY picky. GIVE OUR TEAM A CHECKLIST TO START WITH, AT LEAST.

    Adobe, please don't create this challenge without adequate tools for users. We aren't all just concerned with picking pretty fonts from little packages...

I've attached a list of the fonts included in our subscription library as of today. This list will quickly become outdated as we add new fonts all the time, but we hope it gives you a starting point to manage this transition. I'm sorry that we're not able to help further, but I've shared your comments with our product team for consideration.

13. Please Add the DIN Next Font Family to Adobe Fonts

    I would love to see the DIN Next type family added to Adobe Fonts.

    DIN Next is my preferred DIN-style typeface because of its distinctive and well-balanced letterforms, numerals, and punctuation marks. While Adobe Fonts already offers alternatives such as FF DIN and DIN 2014, neither fully meets my typographic preferences. In particular, I find DIN Next's punctuation and symbol designs more appealing, and I value the consistency of using a single, cohesive type family rather than mixing fonts.

    DIN Next also offers a versatile range of weights and styles, making it suitable for signage, information design, industrial design, and other applications where clarity and visual consistency are important.

    Purchasing the complete family outright can be prohibitively expensive, while subscribing to a separate font service solely to access DIN Next is not an ideal solution for users who already subscribe to Adobe Creative Cloud.

    Adding DIN Next to Adobe Fonts, ideally with a comprehensive selection of weights and widths, would provide significant value to designers who appreciate its distinctive design and want to use it within their existing Creative Cloud workflow.

    signing into adobe fonts or stock always gives me two options: join a team that i "might" be associated with or remind me later. I want the option to opt out of this and say "no"

17. "Hide" feature for non-Latin/Latin fonts.

    It is very time consuming having to wade through so many non-Latin fonts when browsing. I can Imagine this cuts both ways. Maybe my Hindu friends would like the ability to quickly access only Hindi fonts, etc.

18. Please revive more Adobe Multiple Master Fonts from the 1990's as Variable Fonts for use in Adobe Fonts

    Back in the 1990's Adobe had a fairly decent selection of Type 1 Multiple Master fonts. A couple of those (Nueva MM and/or Tekton MM) were bundled in apps like Adobe Type Manager, IIRC. It would be great to see more of those MM typefaces from the past revived as Variable Fonts.

    Some of the more familiar Adobe Originals have been remastered as Variable Fonts. Those include faces like Myriad and Kepler. An equivalent to Minion MM is included as a system font in certain Adobe apps, but isn't available via Adobe Fonts.

    There are various other Adobe Originals MM typefaces that seem "lost." Some aren't available in either regular "static" form or variable. Penumbra was a beautiful all-caps typeface that had variable weight and serif axes.

    I'm guessing Adobe wouldn't legally be able to remaster every type family they distributed in T1 MM format in the 1990's. ITC Avant Garde or ITC Garamond might be a problem with Monotype now owning ITC.

    The old T1 MM fonts had limited character sets; I'm not really asking for Adobe to fully flesh-out those old MM fonts with expanded OpenType-centric features (although it would be nice). The Minion Variable Concept fonts have limited character sets compared to the glyphs in Minion Pro. But it would be a lot better than nothing for Adobe Fonts users to have access to those old MM fonts in OTF Variable format, even if we had to settle for fonts with no more than 256 glyphs.

19. The css for two versions of Good Headline Pro clash.

    The Extra Condensed and Extended family of Good Headline Pro emit the same font-family name in the css kits so you can't use them together. Please fix.

20. Bring back useful filters

    Please bring back the filter that allows me to see only the fonts I have added. I use this all the time and today it's gone in favor of a couple new filters. ADD filtering options; don't take them away!
