1. Improve Adobe Fonts UserVoice!

   Would be great if Adobe Fonts team could offer more clarity around your Feature Requests and Feedback system. :)

   Just a couple starting ideas to improve the use of Adobe Fonts UserVoice!

   1. Timeline for Planned & Started Features: I understand you can’t provide exact dates but it would be fantastic if you could share some kind of time scope to gauge when new features might be released.
      • Quarters: Q3 2024, Q1 2025, etc
      • or Months: 1 month, 3 months, 6months, 1 year, etc Or if that’s not possible,
      • at least the order in which planned features will be created, so we know which features are a priority and coming next?

   (There are currently 25 ideas marked as Planned so would be awesome to know which ones will be progressing first.)

   1. Tag System Clarity: Most tags are self-explanatory, like Under Review, Planned, Declined etc. But Received is a bit unclear... Does it kind of mean reviewed and closed?
   2. Maybe rename to a clearer action
   3. or add a key above forum with statuses + descriptions?

2. [URGENT] Aktiv Grotesk - Improperly Offset due to Adobe

   Aktiv Grotesk fonts improperly sit higher than where they belong, visible in the image attached. This breaks our existing installations managed via Adobe Fonts' Web Projects.

3. Bring back dropped fonts! Fonts used in my files are no longer supported and no similar font is available. Even Adobe fonts are no longer su

   Some Adobe Systems fonts are dropped and should be reinstated. I am a graphic designer and there are fonts used in my recurring projects that cannot be updated because the font is no longer available and does not have a substitute even vaguely similar.

4. library

   I created a folder in my library for a project and saved six font families in it.
   When I go into that library and enter my desired sample text (in Korean), the font preview appears as tofu (□), as if the glyphs are broken. This seems to be some kind of error.

   Even free font websites allow users to preview sample text in many fonts without any issues. However, since Adobe transitioned to the cloud system, the programs have become extremely heavy. They lag on desktop, run slowly, and frequently produce errors.

   It is frustrating to pay such a high subscription fee for apps that feel unstable and poorly optimized. Before the cloud transition, when individual programs could be purchased and used independently, the experience was much better.

5. Have my fonts actually work and stay uploaded to my Adobe programs

   Instead of adding 5 billion new features and messing with the old ones so they don't work anymore, how about just fixing all the things you currently have. I have spent at least 8 hours trying to get the fonts I have uploaded for a project to actually be usable in the apps. Every time I close an app such as Indesign, various fonts, not necessarily the same fonts, are said to be missing. However, when I go to the fonts app, it says they are loaded. Creative Cloud says that I have (0) fonts loaded on my apps even though I have loaded and used in the past several hundred fonts from Adobe and most are said on the fonts website to still be installed. Please help me!!!!

6. Non-latin scripts (especially south east asian)

   First off, we are avid users of Adobe Fonts across multiple project (such as https://jntzn.com/tools/hex-to-rgb-converter/, https://jntzn.com/tools/xml-formatter/, https://jntzn.com/tools/glitch-text-generator/ and https://gegenfeld.com/tools/prozentrechner, among others). The platform's ease of use and integration have been invaluable to our workflow and design consistency.

   As we expand our content offerings into additional languages—including Thai, Korean, Hindi and more—we've encountered a significant challenge: a limited selection of fonts supporting these more niche or non-Latin scripts. Thai script, in particular, is essential for us to deliver a polished and culturally appropriate experience in our multilingual projects.

   It would be incredibly beneficial to have a broader range of fonts tailored to these scripts, allowing us to maintain high-quality design while catering to diverse linguistic audiences. We believe such an expansion would not only enhance our projects but also support other designers and teams with similar needs across the globe.

   Thank you for considering this request. We truly appreciate your commitment to empowering the creative community and look forward to seeing even more diverse language support in Adobe Fonts.

7. Acumin Pro font vertical aligment a long way off

   When used as a webfont from Adobe, Acumin Pro used to work well. It appears the font files were updated by Adobe in November 2024 (based on using the FontDrop service to compare the metadata in an old working font project and a newly created one). On Windows (or an Android), text now appears considerably higher than center, throwing out any use of vertical alignment. On a Mac, text appears below center, meaning extra padding is not a workaround. See comparison of the old and new woff file at FontDrop on a PC in attached image - most importantly, how different the position of the first line is from the top of the box, but also the highlighted selection. Can this be fixed?

   Edit - I had the screenshots the wrong way around; the one on the right is how it used to look, showing the new version on the left is considerably higher.

8. Lightbox/User Collections

   On Monotype, or stock sites like iStock, you can create your own named lightboxes for different projects of saved collections of fonts. It's pretty limiting to only use the pre-create font collections, I feel like it's hard to find what I'm looking for and half of font usage is being able to find the right thing.

9. Two ways to create better navigation within the manage fonts section

   1. It would be helpful to filter and sort through the fonts in our font libraries the same way we search for them in the search bar on the landing page.

   2. It would be lovely to have a search bar in the manage fonts section. 10. Support for Classical Chinese in Source Han Sans & Serif

    1. Purpose:

    I am writing to propose the expansion of the Source Han family to include a "Classical Chinese" (CC) version or enhanced support for historical glyph variants. This would serve as a crucial tool for digital humanities, historical research, and the preservation of East Asian cultural heritage.

    2-1. Regional Standard Limitations:

    Current Source Han Sans/Serif fonts are optimized for modern regional standards (CN, TW, JP, KR). However, these modern standards often replace historical orthography with simplified or modernized forms, which do not accurately reflect the aesthetics or philological nuances of pre-20th-century texts.

    2-2. Digital Humanities Demand:

    There is a growing need among scholars, museums, and publishers for a high-quality, open-source font that supports the "Kangxi Dictionary" style and other classical orthographic conventions consistently across the CJK unified ideographs.

    2-3. Consistency:

    Just as "Source Han KR" supports Old Hangul for historical Korean texts, the CJK project would benefit immensely from a "Classical" variant that prioritizes historical accuracy over modern administrative standards.

    1. Proposed Features:

    Inclusion of rare glyphs from Unicode CJK Extensions (B through I) frequently found in classical literature.

    A dedicated "Classical" (CC) language tag or OpenType features that toggle between modern regional forms and historical/etymological forms.

    Support for punctuation specific to classical texts (e.g., vertical emphasis marks).

12. More Bauhaus Fonts like Futura

    We use Adobe Fonts for several of our projects (e.g., https://gegenfeld.com/, https://jntzn.com and https://jntzn.de) and are very pleased so far. But it would be cool to have more Bauhaus-style fonts, similar to Futura (https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/futura-pt). Keep up the good work!

13. Bembo FONT - Add Bembo Font in adobe FONT

    Hello, several of our customers are waiting for the Bembo font to be added to Adobe Font.

    Have had trouble with seemingly basic fonts falling off of the cloud. I was using Gotham and Neutraface for projects, and now they are missing.

    Hi Carly – The fonts Gotham and Neutraface are not provided by Adobe Fonts. The fonts in the Adobe Fonts library are generally only removed at the request of the foundry. While we must comply in that scenario, it happens very rarely. I'm sorry we couldn't be more helpful here.

15. Suggestions for substitutes for expiring Type 1 fonts

    Can you provide a way to figure out which font can be used as a substitute for an expiring Type 1 font? Many of my long-term projects use classic fonts like Univers and I'm finding it hard to find a similar substitute.

    In particular, I was hoping to use the 'Gyst Variable' font for one of my projects, but it seems to be missing from the font library in Adobe Portfolio. Could you kindly shed some light on why certain fonts available in Adobe Fonts aren't compatible with Adobe Portfolio? I suspect that the absence of these fonts may be due to their variable font format.

    Hello!

    I've been using the "Veneer" font for a while now, and it's been very useful for many projects. Is it possible to have this font also in a clean version? I can find only the "grunge" version from the Adobe Fonts, but the clean version appears to exist in the Yellow Design Studio's library: https://yellowdesignstudio.com/collections/veneer-clean

18. Add a details field to Custom Fonts to keep track of the third-party license such as how many users it's allowed for and how long it's good

    Add a details field to Custom Fonts to keep track of the third-party license, as we're having to go with a different application to keep track of the dozens and dozens of non-Adobe Fonts across hundreds of projects. Custom Fonts would have been a great solution if we could keep track of this metadata, but as it stands, we can't go hunting through e-mails and website accounts if our font usage is audited.

19. URGENT ACADEMIC REQUEST! Add all Syriac fonts (Estrangela, Serto, etc.) and language to be recognized in all of Adobe suite applications.

    Hi, I work with Syriac fonts academically (e.g. Estrangela, Serto, etc.) and need to:
    1. use them in the Text features in copiable text when working in layers within Adobe Suite Applications (Fresco, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) for scholarly projects to be recognized in all of Adobe suite applications.
    2. I would also like to copy tables with specific dimensions and Syriac text with the ability to process Syriac Text (similar to MSWord Processing) in Adobe Suite Apps including Fresco, Illustrator and Photoshop.

    Dear Adobe, yesterday I noticed an issue with the Cyrillic set in some of the font styles in the AzoSans family. Everything was ok before.
    I contacted the font designer (Rui Abreu), who said that most likely there was an update of the font files in the Adobe Fonts library and the family included older fonts that did not have Cyrillic. I kindly ask you to check this issue and fix it if you have the time. This is critically important to me because Old Lion Publishing House, where I work, constantly uses Azo Sans in its projects.
