1. Fonts Should Not "Expire"

   It's very annoying and time-consuming to open a document and be told that all fonts included are inactive. Then I have to open up the Creative Cloud app, the fonts webpage, etc. to go "renew" or re-download the fonts.

   Bonus: None of this has worked and even after uninstalling and reinstalling the fonts, InDesign still says they are inactive.

   Bonus 2: How are these fonts "expired"? I work with these fonts in the same document at least once a month, and I have for the past two years.

   This is such a waste of time. If I was a freelancer and this was creating extra time/work I might not be paid for, I would be even more upset.

2. It MUST be made possible to deactivate Adobe Fonts at an application level

   I am not the only document and book designer to be frustrated with Adobe Fonts. The service interferes with standard InDesign workflows in an ever-expanding list of ways, most notably by (current bug) randomly preventing 3rd-party font managers from activating fonts, attempting to auto-activate cloud versions of fonts that were typeset using an earlier version with different kerning tables, randomly activating numerous fonts the user has not requested, and noticeably slowing down InDesign when opening documents: particularly frustrating if the user has no need of the Adobe Fonts service.

   Adobe Fonts is not a complete font management solution, nor can it be, when unavoidable type families such as Helvetica and Gotham belong to other foundries and are not ever going to be available. There are non-Adobe cloud services (Google, Microsoft, Monotype) that have wide use, and several excellent and mature 3rd-party font managers already exist and are in widespread use. These make it imperative that the service get out of the way of existing solutions upon which professional workflows depend.

   It's not that Adobe Fonts is bad, or a bad idea. It can be useful for ideation and prototyping. But in a professional typesetting environment with close font management, it can be a liability.

   Allowing the user to fully turn off Adobe Fonts, whether globally (which would be fine in many use cases) or on an app by app basis, is important.

   I am not the only document and book designer to be frustrated with Adobe Fonts. 3. List OpenType features on the typeface information page.

   OpenType features are referenced in the 'Details' section with a link to a generic information page, but which features are actually supported by the current typeface are not listed.

   Currently, seemingly the only way to see this information is to add the typeface to a web project, edit the project, and look at the highlighted options under the 'Character Set' heading.

   This is important information in certain situations, as the presence of certain OpenType features may influence whether the typeface is suitable or not (e.g. finding a font with tabular figure support for a data-heavy application).

4. Halyard italic fonts now include "dollar"

   Recently (maybe because of adding Halyard Variable?), all the italic fonts for Halyard Text, Display, and Micro include the word "dollar" in them. This means that when we open previous files we have to relink all the fonts to the new name, which is a significant headache. We're reached out to the font foundry and they were unaware of the change now knew how they would even be able to make that update.

5. Lightbox/User Collections

   On Monotype, or stock sites like iStock, you can create your own named lightboxes for different projects of saved collections of fonts. It's pretty limiting to only use the pre-create font collections, I feel like it's hard to find what I'm looking for and half of font usage is being able to find the right thing.

6. Two ways to create better navigation within the manage fonts section

   1. It would be helpful to filter and sort through the fonts in our font libraries the same way we search for them in the search bar on the landing page.

   2. It would be lovely to have a search bar in the manage fonts section. Even if we know the name of the fonts we have or don't have, when we want to find them, we only have the option to scroll to them or reorganize the list of fonts alphabetically. I've found this time-consuming, making the experience of working with the site too slow at times when I'm working on projects and have a tight schedule.

7. Palomino

   When I had the Palomino font in my indesign project it caused the program to stop responding when I tried to export. When I removed the font it exported just fine. So there might be a bug in the font.

8. Relocate the Like/Dislike buttons on the website

   This is a usability issue. Please move the Like/Dislike buttons to the bottom of the block, so they don't block my view of the font preview. Thanks!

9. Facilitate workflow between designers using fonts via Creative Cloud

   As a project is worked on by several designers from the company, it would be nice if it were possible to download a file to save in the Documents Fonts folder so that, when clicking on this file, it would go directly to activating the font on the page. It could be an xml, for example.

10. Improve Pagination on Adobe Fonts

    When I reach the pagination at the bottom and click on the next page, the browser does not scroll back up to the top of the results on the next page.
    This is inconvenient, since one now has to scroll up, see the results, and then scroll back down to go to the next page.
    There are two solutions: the browser scrolls to the top of the results page, or you add another pagination at the top of the results.

11. Upload sample text

    Other font websites allow you to upload a sample of the text font you are trying to find. That would be very helpful here.

12. Font request: Add Serpentine (Regular & Sans) and TF Trantino

    Both these typefaces each bring a distinct personality - Serpentine with its sharp, futuristic edge, and TF Trantino with its expressive, timeless character. Including them would add unique, high-impact options to the library and broaden creative possibilities for designers.

13. Bug with visual search feature

    Hello, the visual search feature appears to be broken on adobe fonts. I have used the feature many times in the past with decent results so I believe it is a new bug.

    I have attached some tests to show what is happening. When I upload images it is not able to read the text correctly as it has in the past. The default text is gibberish.

    Even after correcting the text, you can see the feature either returned ornaments or fonts that were not at all similar to the original.

    The only one that was read correctly was a screenshot from this feedback page, but even so, the search was not able to identify it even though it is Adobe's main typeface.

    In the end I was able to find the original font I was looking for (the purple script example) which is Caflisch Script. This font is available on Adobe Fonts so in theory the visual search, working properly, should have been able to identify it.

14. Italic Fonts Missing in Argent CF. I contacted the foundry who said this is an Adobe oversight

    Please add the italic variations to the font for Argent CF. The foundry advised they are meant to be included in the family of fonts on Adobe and that this is an oversight on Adobes's part.

    Thanks for reaching out. The italic style of this font is scheduled to be added to the library in September.

15. Bad German translation on homepage

    On your homepage there are two buttons to a) browse through the library of fonts and b) to find a font by uploading an image.

    The second button is named "Nach Bildern suchen" in the German version of the website, which is totally wrong. "Nach Bildern suchen" means "Looking for images".

    I don't know what this button is named in English but please contact a professional translator to help you with this translation.

18. Copy CSS bug

    There is a bug in the web projects section of the website. When you click the icon to copy the CSS for a selected font, it unchecks the font effectively removing it from your project if you were to not notice and hit save. So you must click to copy and then reselect the font.

19. PLEASE give an option to preview ALL STYLES AT ONCE without needing to turn down folder arrows!

    As a Designer working to create branding, identity and logos, for over 25 years, when searching for a font to use for literally anything, I need to quickly see all font styles at once and don't have time to manually turn down every folders' arrow to preview them individually. Sometimes different styles look entirely different than the version presented by default, and this can't be anticipated. It's better to have the option to preview all styles than making users do more work accomplish this. I've found that having this feature (as you can in Suitcase) is a HUGE time saving measure and pushes the work farther by truly showing ALL options in one fell swoop, so all you have to do is SCROLL to see every option available to you and QUICKLY find what you're looking for. I truly appreciate the fonts, but that unintended filtering by omission is a significant workflow productivity barrier. Come on Adobe, don't cramp my style!

20. Serif v. San Serif on Mrs Eaves Roman Petit Caps

    I was looking at my project css file and noticed the entries at the end for Mrs Eaves indicates "sans-serif" as the fallback for all of the Mrs Eaves variants but not the main Mrs Eaves, even though all of the fonts are themselves serifed. Why is this?

    Thank you for your bug report! Our team has now corrected the fallback for Mrs Eaves web fonts. Note that the fix won't get pushed to existing web projects. You will need to remove the font family from your web project and re-add it, then republish the project to update the CSS stack for the font.
