1. Fonts in WOFF2 format

   If we could have a way to access fonts as WOFF2 this would help with page speed when implementing them on websites. This could compress the file sizes by 30%.

3. Request for Addition of Lithuanian Language in Adobe Fonts Filter

   As an enthusiastic user of your diverse range of fonts, I am writing to express a significant need for a specific language filter: Lithuanian. This language, although small in its number of speakers, carries a historical and cultural significance that is often underestimated.

   Lithuanian, belonging to the Baltic branch of the Indo-European languages, is often considered one of the oldest languages still in use today. It retains many archaic features, which are believed to be close to the original Proto-Indo-European language. This gives the Lithuanian language not only historical but also linguistic importance, as it provides valuable insights into the development and structure of early Indo-European languages.

   The resilience of the Lithuanian language is deeply tied to our national identity and pride. Over centuries, our ancestors bravely resisted numerous attempts to suppress our language, most notably during periods of Russian dominance. Despite the odds, they managed to preserve our linguistic heritage, passing down the ancient tongue from generation to generation.

   However, in spite of this rich heritage and proven resilience, Lithuanian speakers frequently face difficulties when seeking digital resources, including fonts, that correctly display the unique characters that our language utilizes. We often have to combine several language filters to ensure full character set compatibility, which is not the most efficient solution and sometimes leads to discrepancies.

   Adobe, being a global leader in digital media solutions, has a unique opportunity to bridge this gap and provide better support for the Lithuanian language. This addition would be immensely appreciated by the Lithuanian community and anyone interested in the historical and linguistic heritage of Europe.

   I am confident that this proposed addition aligns with Adobe's commitment to diversity and inclusion by ensuring equal digital representation for all languages, no matter how large or small their speaking community might be.

5. Cyrillic

   There is no Cyrillic filter option on https://fonts.adobe.com/. I wanted to upgrade my Adobe account to include Illustrator, but all the work I am going to do is with Cyrillic fonts and upon trying to see if there are any good ones on Adobe, I couldn't because the filter is simply missing. I am guessing the same is true for the in-app search as well.

6. Adobe Fonts for Indesign Server

   We have the fact that it is important for us that we have the same possibilities for processing with the Indesign Server as with the desktop. For this, it is essential that we can also retrieve and thus process the Adobe fonts via the Indesign server.
   In the context of the shortage of skilled workers and the move towards automation, such processing is essential for us. The license for the fonts is already paid via the users who do the design and also via the server license, which is considerably more expensive than that of a desktop station.

8. Request for open type fonts in adobe

   There are some HUGE gaps in Adobe collection, especially since you dropped former "gold-standard" Type 1.

   This is a "wish-list" for OpenType fonts:

   You need to replace some fonts you dropped, others that you never had, fill some gaping basic-stuff holes, flesh-out some families, try to keep things consistantly available, and some of this is simply stuff that would be nice to have.

   Although support for Type 1 fonts has ended, we have not removed any fonts from our service. Many of the fonts on your list are already included in the Adobe Fonts library as part of your Creative Cloud subscription.

9. Baseline misalignment in between the styles of URW Baskerville

   I have an issue with URW Baskerville since the baseline does not align from Regular to Italic. Maybe it's a baseline or vertical metric bug? Baseline alignment across different styles should be a fundamental expectation, right? Unfortunately we use this font in our ID. 10. Improve Adobe Fonts UserVoice!

    Would be great if Adobe Fonts team could offer more clarity around your Feature Requests and Feedback system. :)

    Just a couple starting ideas to improve the use of Adobe Fonts UserVoice!

    1. Timeline for Planned & Started Features: I understand you can’t provide exact dates but it would be fantastic if you could share some kind of time scope to gauge when new features might be released.
       • Quarters: Q3 2024, Q1 2025, etc
       • or Months: 1 month, 3 months, 6months, 1 year, etc Or if that’s not possible,
       • at least the order in which planned features will be created, so we know which features are a priority and coming next?

    (There are currently 25 ideas marked as Planned so would be awesome to know which ones will be progressing first.)

    1. Tag System Clarity: Most tags are self-explanatory, like Under Review, Planned, Declined etc. But Received is a bit unclear... Does it kind of mean reviewed and closed?
    2. Maybe rename to a clearer action
    3. or add a key above forum with statuses + descriptions?

12. Please notify me if you turn off my fonts

    I use Adobe fonts in other applications. I wasn't able to edit text because you had decided to turn off my fonts and force me to redownload them without actually telling me. I had to do a whole bunch of troubleshooting because of your lack of communication.

    When you decide to turn off your users fonts, can you please at least email me to let me know? I don't want to have to waste like 45 minutes testing a bunch of stuff.

13. Keep cloud fonts the same - only add on

    Have had trouble with seemingly basic fonts falling off of the cloud. I was using Gotham and Neutraface for projects, and now they are missing.

    Hi Carly – The fonts Gotham and Neutraface are not provided by Adobe Fonts. The fonts in the Adobe Fonts library are generally only removed at the request of the foundry. While we must comply in that scenario, it happens very rarely. I'm sorry we couldn't be more helpful here.

14. Disable Variable Concept Fonts in Photoshop

    For many pro users Photoshop comes with a lot of unnecessary variable fonts. It would be nice to be able to control them on a user level and not be forced by Adobe to have them installed. I don't need them and they get in the way.

    Adobe Fonts are not working correctly. Again. In what universe is this Montserrat?? It's great guys that you are launching AI features, but there are so many bugs with basic features. At the end I pay Adobe subscription for my work, and when I have to work, the softwares are out of order

18. Please make the fonts also possible to use online for a website. Extra fees just lead to not using adobe fonts at all.

    Extra Costs for fonts if you use them for the clients website does not make sense. It is 2023 and there is no point in making "website use" not covered by the license. No one out there only uses print, at least not my clients. I see no point in using it for my work. Switched to google fonts again. Adobe fonts is useless if that is not changed.
    Just a feedback that you consider including website use or give a fast transparent way or options to over look it. No point in making it complicated for the user. Not compatible with a modern, fast working process.
