  2. As previously reported by fellow designers - Bulgarian is missing from the dropdown menu in SearchFonts/Languages and writing systems. Not only that the Cyrillic writing system was developed in and for Bulgaria, but even in modern times many of the Cyrillic fonts are made by bulgarians like https://fonts.adobe.com/designers/botio-nikoltchev and many more. I think it's crucial to add it as a language, not only from a historical point of view, but also because the market here is huge and the need for this search option is important.

  3. Adobe Fonts recently updated the way search results work. If there are no results for your query, recommended fonts are displayed instead. There is a disclaimer message at the top right, but it is very easy to get confused and think the desired font is somehow further down in the results. Please return the previous "no fonts found" messaging to the top of the search results, and place the font suggestions in a separate section below.

Search has also worsened in quality recently, making search results more difficult to parse. When searching "Caslon", three rows of suggestions appear for unrelated…

  4. Hello, the visual search feature appears to be broken on adobe fonts. I have used the feature many times in the past with decent results so I believe it is a new bug.

I have attached some tests to show what is happening. When I upload images it is not able to read the text correctly as it has in the past. The default text is gibberish.

Even after correcting the text, you can see the feature either returned ornaments or fonts that were not at all similar to the original.

The only one that was read correctly was a…

  5. There are fonts without lowercase letters. I would like a search filter. A selection of fonts with lowercase letters and without lowercase letters.

  6. Your current categorization "system" – Hallowe'en (?!), Fun, Futuristic, etc. – appeals to amateurs and is near useless to professional typesetters.

I want to be able to see if a font has small caps, is suitable for body copy in books or is better for headlines and display, etc. It would also be great to be able to view by date designed and other typographic fine-tuning options.

Adobe has been in the font business for many decades. I would think that you could offer far better tools to find your font offerings.

    Thanks,

    Gareth

  7. Hello, Adobe Fonts Team,

the same idea here! Add Bulgarian Cyrillic in browse fonts filter. If you bother to check, the Cyrillic alphabet was invented in Bulgaria and spread around the world: in Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, etc. It turns out that your search engine is missing the original Cyrillic alphabet, and only has secondary ones. That's not very professional, right?

  8. Users should be able to 'hide' fonts that they don't want to see in the drop down menu. System fonts like 'Noto Sans' essentially divide the whole menu with a large number of fonts that can't be deleted from the system. Having the ability to hide these fonts is the solution that many people have been asking for, but for some reason both adobe and apple have ignored the problem.

  9. The results page is a mess. It's as if you're trying to show what a great designer you are. Just the information on the fonts is needed. Not examples in a myriad of colours across a myriad of styles.

  10. The ability to manage the different versions of the fonts in a specific admin console, for company accounts, to define which version must be used by the end users in the company and, if needed, force the font update in all the end user machines.
This is requested because when fonts are updated and the changes are related with kerning or characters, inside a company with several layout designers, can lead to different results because different users can have different versions of a font.
Related with this request, users should be informed when a font is updated in Adobe Fonts

  12. WTF! Sorry for the rude words.
Neusa Next STD is totally offline, a font, that we are using for our corporate design. Is there any possibility to get Neusa Nets Std back? Any help is very appreciated.

  13. Neusa Next font disappear...
This font was part of the graphic system for a big project, now I have to change it in all the documents.
So as we are'nt able to download the fonts, maybe an alternative font can be suggested when a font is deleted from the library?

  15. When browsing fonts to download, it's tough to see how the font would look due to how they are presented. It would be much better if the fonts were in black on a white background because they are too confusing to look at the moment.

  17. Could you allow collapsing all font family names at once in the font manager, please? It is not productive to collapse one by one, and the view of everything expanded by default is very bad. Thanks!

  18. Why not sort the fonts in order of Unicode compliance when a sample sentence is entered? (I do not need to see the "featured" fonts when most of the characters I actually need are represented by rectangles.)

  19. It's very sad to see how much Adobe's quality, in all of its products, is decreasing over the time. There are fewer fonts in it's portfolio and have removed fonts that were included in past time.

  20. URGENT REQUEST!
Hi, I work with Syriac fonts academically (e.g. Estrangela, Serto, etc.) and need to:
    1. use them in the Text features in copiable text when working in layers within Adobe Suite Applications (Fresco, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) for scholarly projects to be recognized in all of Adobe suite applications.
    2. I would also like to copy tables with specific dimensions and Syriac text with the ability to process Syriac Text (similar to MSWord Processing) in Adobe Suite Apps including Fresco, Illustrator and Photoshop.

Here is a link with an example of the fonts (Unicode): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syriac_(Unicode_block)#:~:text=Syriac%20is%20a%20Unicode%20block,Arabic%20among%20Syriac%2Dspeaking%20Christians.

    Thanks!
