  1. Adobe should have a true font-management tool, something which allows one to manage all fonts stored on a Mac/PC. Such a tool can dramatically improve font workflow -- I've been using Maintype 11, and it's great, but Adobe should have their own tool like that.

Yes, Adobe does have a very lightweight and feature-lacking "half-tool" for managing fonts, but it's kind of a joke, and lacks almost all the features I would want to see -- it's not a true font-manager at all; it only lets you install or uninstall fonts from the fonts.adobe.com website, and doesn't let you arbitrarily…

  2. For fonts like this one https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/hellofont-id-jun-li#details-section+hellofont-id-junli-regular the "How to Use" sections claims the font name will display in English. However, in Illustrator the font name is only displaying in Chinese, meaning if you search for Junli, you don't get any results. Please either make it searchable within apps in multiple languages, or at least update the description on the font webpage so users aren't misled.

  3. Please introduce better filtering options:
    - Double story/single story g
    - Double-storey/single-storey a
    - Dynamic shapes, Passive shapes, Constructed shapes
    - Fonts by use (newspaper, book, poster)
    - Fonts with variable sizes
    - type fonts
    ...

Your filter is currently a bit stone-age and just doesn't do the products justice. Thank you!

  4. I added multiple fonts after searching the best ones for the project but it doesn't appear in my InDesign font choice. Also I added Proxima Nova (all the styles) but it only shows up a half of them and I can't download the rest.

  5. I think it would be good to add a "Download All Fonts" button somewhere within the fonts page in the Creative Cloud Desktop App. The button would download all fonts in your font library. This would be an amazing feature and would make it easier for users to download all their fonts at once. For example If a user buys a new computer and is not transferring their data across and is just simply doing a full reset or if someone completely resets their pc for some reason they have to go in the app and install all their fonts…

  6. Would be great if Adobe Fonts team could offer more clarity around your Feature Requests and Feedback system. :)

Just a couple starting ideas to improve the use of Adobe Fonts UserVoice!

    1. Timeline for Planned & Started Features: I understand you can’t provide exact dates but it would be fantastic if you could share some kind of time scope to gauge when new features might be released.
      • Quarters: Q3 2024, Q1 2025, etc
      • or Months: 1 month, 3 months, 6months, 1 year, etc Or if that’s not possible,
      • at least the order in which planned features will be created, so…

  7. I don’t know how other people are feeling about it, but when it comes to the Tags, things like Wedding of Fun don’t really help me a lot, but I would love to be able to search for Display or Condensed fonts. And I would second the suggestion someone else already made, that it would be great if there were tags according to the best use of fonts like Newspaper, Books or Magazines.

  8. Adobe does not have the font Gotham. This is a very popular font and it has been popular for a very long time. I was told by Adobe Support that it is not in the Adobe Fonts collection because it is a 3rd party font. For a long time, Adobe has been negligent and still carries way too little number of fonts, and not enough of the popular ones that are considered current to design. After collecting so much money from Adobe subscriptions, Adobe should be providing better and more fonts. This poses a huge problem for startups and freelancer…

  9. The Lato typefaces you have display the wrong '⅘' (it appears as 4/8 rather than 4/5; There's no Unicode for 4/8).

This has long been fixed in the Lato source, in v3.

  10. Please make fonts automatically install in non-adobe apps like before. I noticed the fonts are not showing up in my third party font manager any longer and after lots of restarting and re-syncing i realized there was a change in service.

This is a terrible user experience. it now feels like i have to activate everything twice one by one.

At least put a preference so we can get future fonts to install everywhere. Rather than have to individually change them.

  11. Hello,

Aktiv Grotesk font by Dalton Maag has a VF (variable) version for about couple years now, but that is not added to Adobe Fonts.

Also, the newest version of the font is 5.xx offered by the foundry, but it seems that we have version 4.xx on Adobe Fonts.

Please add the VF font variant of Aktiv Grotesk (as already offered for other Dalton Maag fonts here).

  13. The font called The Seasons doesn't include the Øø (it shows Oo), but when looking at it on Myfonts there is an Øø, so it must be a bug or it hasn't ben updated to final version. The italic version has Øø

  14. Please, please, please add Welsh to the list of languages, this would save hours browsing fonts which do not have the rare w and y's with circumflex accents which are needed to typeset in Welsh. With the need to make documents accessible, ie. text readers for the visually impaired, workarounds for missing accents are no longer workable and having fonts with all the accents included is essential.

  15. Please, add "Bulgarian" in languages/writing systems. I'm amazed that there are Russian, Belorussian and even Macedonian, but no Bulgarian. At least this is the origin country of Cyrillic Alphabet. Have you ever heard of St. Cyril and Methodius?

  16. please place a filter in the adobe font library for which fonts have ligatures and swashes. it is truly disappointing to have to load a font in an application before seeing if they have ligatures/swatches—takes much time. thank you for your good help.

  17. Dalton Maag recently updated their Aktiv Grotesk family with a wider range of weights and widths, with specific expanded and much welcomed support for Hebrew. As part of the expansion the Hebrew letterforms were seriously updated, but for some reason the 8 styles of the previous version were not updated (light, regular, medium and bold, upright and italic of each). Now different weights have different letterforms - please update the original styles as well so we can all have a cohesive family to use.

  19. Would love to see 3 new tags.

    1. Condensed - including all fonts that are tall and thin, regardless of font style and including but not exclusively fonts labeled "condensed" and "compressed". (examples-Birch, Niagara, and Bee, also Alternate Gothic Condensed and Compressed)

Extended - including all fonts that are short and wide, regardless of font style and including but not exclusively fonts labeled "Extended". (examples-Blackoak, Madrone, and HWT Tuscan Extended, Milka, Modesto Expanded, Neuzon Regular, Viva Std Bold Extra Extended.)

Square - All fonts with squared corners, regardless of font style, whether or not the corners are sharp, whether or not…

  20. I'm looking for a font with a full set of ligatures, which means manually copying in glyphs from elsewhere and scanning through pages and pages of fonts that don't include what I need. (84 pages of sans serif! No way I'm going to take time to click through all of these.)

It would be awesome to have the option to automatically filter out any font that comes up with an empty glyph in the sample type, or some other way to browse only fonts that include specific glyph sets, whether it's ligatures, accents, math symbols, etc.
