  3. I mean people spent plenty of money over the years on really well-designed font collections...often time these cannot be uploaded to CS. The very least you could do is offer more high-quality type from prestigious type houses...not the generic knock-offs. Your job is to make it easier for designers to do great work. Please do not start in about the expense of licenses, you have no trouble charging your own customers hefty monthly fees. So please improve the font experience.

  4. I enjoy the new function of putting fonts in my own libraries but I find it less usable than I expected beause every font weight/style is listed by itself which means I might have to scroll through 300 fonts in list of maybe 20 . In order to quickly go thought my font options in a library I should be able to sort them by family.

  6. Suggestion: make it possible to remove fonts from the "previously active" list in the Creative Cloud app.

Sometimes you try and then firmly reject a font, or have fonts you used long ago for just one project and are really unlikely to need again. It would be nice to be able to remove these even from the "previously active" list, as it grows longer!

  7. Users should be able to 'hide' fonts that they don't want to see in the drop down menu. System fonts like 'Noto Sans' essentially divide the whole menu with a large number of fonts that can't be deleted from the system. Having the ability to hide these fonts is the solution that many people have been asking for, but for some reason both adobe and apple have ignored the problem.

  8. There was an existing feature that suggested complementary fonts for headlines/body copy was incredibly helpful. It made choosing well-matched typefaces much easier. Please consider bringing it back!

  9. While custom fonts can be uploaded and assigned to user groups making sure that whenever they sign into Adobe Creative Cloud that these fonts are loaded and activated this falls show with fonts that are part of Adobe Fonts. (i.e. Source Sans 3)

Why is this important? While users can enable such fonts on their own ... they will first ask IT support about the missing fonts. We would very much be able to deploy such fonts to so that we can make certain they have all corporate fonts as soon as…

  11. Hello Adobe team,

Hope this message finds you well. I've been utilizing Adobe's tools and services to enhance my creative projects, and I recently encountered a snag that I was hoping to address. While exploring Adobe Portfolio, I noticed that some fonts available in Adobe Fonts aren't accessible.

In particular, I was hoping to use the 'Gyst Variable' font for one of my projects, but it seems to be missing from the font library in Adobe Portfolio. Could you kindly shed some light on why certain fonts available in Adobe Fonts aren't compatible with Adobe Portfolio?…

  14. I think it would be good to add a "Download All Fonts" button somewhere within the fonts page in the Creative Cloud Desktop App. The button would download all fonts in your font library. This would be an amazing feature and would make it easier for users to download all their fonts at once. For example If a user buys a new computer and is not transferring their data across and is just simply doing a full reset or if someone completely resets their pc for some reason they have to go in the app and…

  15. The preset styles of the Latino Gothic Variable font are malformed and prevent its use in a variety of environments. They are broken on the font site as well.

    https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/latino-gothic-variable

You can see how all the preset styles have the maximum font weight instead of seeing light, thin, regular, etc.

Upon closer inspection its font width has been set to wide by using the 'normal' keyword when it needs to be a value such as 400.

This issue is preventing us from using this font in mixed variable and non variable environments.

  16. Have the ability to view multiple lines of text in the sample text preview. It's hard to see if a font is good for body copy with only one line preview.

  18. Hi. There's currently no way to use Adobe Fonts with the new Gutenberg system in WordPress 6.5. That is, unless you add a 3rd party page builder theme.

As I hear it, they're building an API for their new WP font manager, so work is needed on the Adobe end to plug Adobe Fonts in.

This is a new / forthcoming issue. They published the release candidate of WP 6.5 a week ago, and before that it was a beta for a while.

I was asked by Adobe staff to post this here as a reply to a…

  19. Everytime you do a bug fix with "stabilization" you mess up how fonts work. I always use a specific font, optical, size, and spacing. Now I have to reset it every dang time I click another tool. Stop messing with the font box. it is so annoying and time consuming. I spend hours a day on Photoshop! Thanks

  20. A sturdy and failsafe fontmanager, apart from the CC app. With sets, folders, rankings. This makes it more easy to activate / deactivate font sets per project.
