1. Improve search by image

   I tried to use the search by image feature to see if there are any Adobe fonts similar to Genty, and most of the results it gave me were symbol fonts (where each letter types an icon instead of the letter itself). When identifying the letters in my image, it got most of them correct - I just had to correct the capital T and lowercase L, which were misidentified - which means it could tell it was a normal font, not a symbol font, and yet it still suggested symbol fonts as a possible match. I followed the guidelines given (see attachment). Genty is a rounded script font. It seems your search by image needs to be improved in this area.

2. Individual Tags or Folders

   I would really appreciate it, if there was a better way to manage fonts. Having all fonts in a list, all families expanded no less, requires me to scroll through everything when I am looking for something particular I cannot remember the name of. And when I go through them one by one I have to click on every item on the list to be given a preview, no using my downward key to save time.
   If there were a way to allow for the creation and use of tags or folders, it would be an immense time saver.
   The list is only getting longer as time goes on and at a certain point it might become less practical to use it at all and instead just use the All Fonts section – as there is at least a visual part to the items listed.

   I would really appreciate it, if there was a better way to manage fonts. 3. Improve Tags

   I don’t know how other people are feeling about it, but when it comes to the Tags, things like Wedding of Fun don’t really help me a lot, but I would love to be able to search for Display or Condensed fonts. And I would second the suggestion someone else already made, that it would be great if there were tags according to the best use of fonts like Newspaper, Books or Magazines.

4. Export As Adobe PDF from Word needs to display Adobe Fonts correctly!

   For some things, I need to use Microsoft Word, but when I use my Adobe Fonts, and then either choose the 'Save As Adobe PDF' or 'Print to Adobe PDF' plugins, the Adobe Fonts just appear a scrambled mess.

   Ironically, Microsoft 'Print to PDF' sometimes works, but not always. Can you please fix this?

5. Misleading information on Interstate language support

   Hi,

   The 'About' section of the Interstate font states: ... 'The family was expanded to include full support for Central and Eastern Europe languages, as well as Cyrillic and Greek.'

   That is however not the case with the version provided by Adobe, which only includes standard version without other languages support. I think this is an example tapping into a broader problem: Adobe customers are not treated equally. Those, whose projects involve languages other than those considered 'standard' (which in itself sounds bizarre), are out of luck. While the extended language version of this particular font exists and is advertised in the 'about' description, Adobe only provides 'standard' version, so only a part of Adobe customers are getting what they need at the same price everyone pays. I think it is unfair, this problem should not exist in 2024.

6. Please introduce a meaningful filter.

   Please introduce better filtering options:
   - Double story/single story g
   - Double-storey/single-storey a
   - Dynamic shapes, Passive shapes, Constructed shapes
   - Fonts by use (newspaper, book, poster)
   - Fonts with variable sizes
   - type fonts
   ...

   Your filter is currently a bit stone-age and just doesn't do the products justice. Thank you!

7. search fonts by glyph availability

   I'm looking for a font with a full set of ligatures, which means manually copying in glyphs from elsewhere and scanning through pages and pages of fonts that don't include what I need. (84 pages of sans serif! No way I'm going to take time to click through all of these.)

   It would be awesome to have the option to automatically filter out any font that comes up with an empty glyph in the sample type, or some other way to browse only fonts that include specific glyph sets, whether it's ligatures, accents, math symbols, etc.

8. Some fonts aren't available in Adobe Portfolio

   Hello Adobe team,

   Hope this message finds you well. I've been utilizing Adobe's tools and services to enhance my creative projects, and I recently encountered a snag that I was hoping to address. While exploring Adobe Portfolio, I noticed that some fonts available in Adobe Fonts aren't accessible.

   In particular, I was hoping to use the 'Gyst Variable' font for one of my projects, but it seems to be missing from the font library in Adobe Portfolio. Could you kindly shed some light on why certain fonts available in Adobe Fonts aren't compatible with Adobe Portfolio? I suspect that the absence of these fonts may be due to their variable font format.
   Are there plans to incorporate variable fonts into Adobe Portfolio?

9. Font Readability / Topic

   There are various fonts available for styling purposes. However, defining fonts for reliable and safe text reading is a challenging discipline. There are many fonts and use cases where a character may look like another character. For example, 6 may look like 8 or vice versa, depending on the dimensions of the shapes and curves of the font. Also, if the text is highlighted or selected in a text field, the colour or background changes, the viewing angle or distance changes, the characters are unevenly spaced or too close, or a capital letter precedes the character. Especially, for numeric figures, but also text articles.

12. Brandon Grotesque font doesn't work properly with Cyrillic characters

    The Brandon Grotesque font has support for Cyrillic characters in all styles, but for some unknown reason, after installing it from Adobe Fonts, not all styles display the text correctly. For example, only light and bold work, and tofu is displayed in other styles.
    This problem occurs not only to me, but to all my colleagues, so I assume that the problem is in the font.

    Would love to see 3 new tags.

    1. Condensed - including all fonts that are tall and thin, regardless of font style and including but not exclusively fonts labeled "condensed" and "compressed". (examples-Birch, Niagara, and Bee, also Alternate Gothic Condensed and Compressed)

    Extended - including all fonts that are short and wide, regardless of font style and including but not exclusively fonts labeled "Extended". (examples-Blackoak, Madrone, and HWT Tuscan Extended, Milka, Modesto Expanded, Neuzon Regular, Viva Std Bold Extra Extended.)

    Square - All fonts with squared corners, regardless of font style, whether or not the corners are sharp, whether or not labeled "square". (examples-Abolition, Industry, Kegger, Liquorstore, LTC Squareface, Refrigerator Deluxe, Sheepman, Worker.

14. Please add a scroll bar for the fonts list in the Creative Cloud Desktop App

    The Adobe Fonts section in the Creative Cloud Desktop App needs some improvements to its user interface. Currently the fonts list does not have a functioning scroll bar. At work I use a desktop PC running Win 11 Pro and at home I use a notebook running Win 10 Pro. At work I can get by using the scroll wheel on my mouse. At home I have a Wacom tablet connected; the only way I can scroll through the fonts list is by hitting arrow keys on the keyboard. And that often doesn't work. It's really annoying.

    I really miss being able to manage all the fonts I sync just using the Adobe Fonts web site. It was easier there. Installing and removing fonts using the Creative Cloud desktop app is far more cumbersome. The biggest problem is the scroll bar issue. The problem is compounded by all type families being expanded so every style in a type family is visible. That just increases the amount of scrolling required.

15. Have font name searchable in multiple languages

    For fonts like this one https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/hellofont-id-jun-li#details-section+hellofont-id-junli-regular the "How to Use" sections claims the font name will display in English. However, in Illustrator the font name is only displaying in Chinese, meaning if you search for Junli, you don't get any results. Please either make it searchable within apps in multiple languages, or at least update the description on the font webpage so users aren't misled.

    please place a filter in the adobe font library for which fonts have ligatures and swashes. it is truly disappointing to have to load a font in an application before seeing if they have ligatures/swatches—takes much time. thank you for your good help.

17. Improve Adobe Fonts UserVoice!

    Would be great if Adobe Fonts team could offer more clarity around your Feature Requests and Feedback system. :)

    Just a couple starting ideas to improve the use of Adobe Fonts UserVoice!

    1. Timeline for Planned & Started Features: I understand you can’t provide exact dates but it would be fantastic if you could share some kind of time scope to gauge when new features might be released.
       • Quarters: Q3 2024, Q1 2025, etc
       • or Months: 1 month, 3 months, 6months, 1 year, etc Or if that’s not possible,
       • at least the order in which planned features will be created, so we know which features are a priority and coming next?

    (There are currently 25 ideas marked as Planned so would be awesome to know which ones will be progressing first.)

    1. Tag System Clarity: Most tags are self-explanatory, like Under Review, Planned, Declined etc. But Received is a bit unclear... Does it kind of mean reviewed and closed?
    2. Maybe rename to a clearer action
    3. or add a key above forum with statuses + descriptions?

18. make 3rd party fonts available on Adobe font foundry

    Adobe does not have the font Gotham. This is a very popular font and it has been popular for a very long time. I was told by Adobe Support that it is not in the Adobe Fonts collection because it is a 3rd party font. For a long time, Adobe has been negligent and still carries way too little number of fonts, and not enough of the popular ones that are considered current to design. After collecting so much money from Adobe subscriptions, Adobe should be providing better and more fonts. This poses a huge problem for startups and freelancer solo workers who do not have large funds to buy the fonts that are considered basic to the current trends. Please do not put this issue aside, I am fed up at this point, after years of the changes in your font management systems, nothing has improved. This is a major issue and fonts are a vital foundation to design.

19. Add Aktiv Grotesk VF version

    Hello,

    Aktiv Grotesk font by Dalton Maag has a VF (variable) version for about couple years now, but that is not added to Adobe Fonts.

    Also, the newest version of the font is 5.xx offered by the foundry, but it seems that we have version 4.xx on Adobe Fonts.

    Please add the VF font variant of Aktiv Grotesk (as already offered for other Dalton Maag fonts here).

20. Add the 'Ø' to The Seasons (font

    The font called The Seasons doesn't include the Øø (it shows Oo), but when looking at it on Myfonts there is an Øø, so it must be a bug or it hasn't ben updated to final version. The italic version has Øø
